This is one of the best Soul of Chogokin release! I have one and it is simply amazing! I'm glad I got one when it was just out and I can't imagine how I am going to justify the inexorably secondary market price we are seeing right now.
I'm not a Voltron fan, but I have to say that this looks fantastic. Bandai pretty much nailed it. Makes me more excited to see how the Megazord/Daizyujin turns out.

Most of the body of the lion other than black lion is made of plastic. Red lion and green lion are made by die-cast only joints. Blue lion and yellow lion are made by die-casting legs including joints. Black lion is made with mixed die casting and plastic.
Ah,yes. Back to 1985. Going back in time as Huey Lewis said in "Back to the future.". Lol. Nice toy. I know this probably costs around 1K. Too bad you can't make payments on this. 😕

My dad got me a die cast Voltron set in the 80s. I remember how cool it was. I wish I still had it. These look amazing.
I had one too...i still think of it as one of my favorite toys.
I've never seen anything more incredible in my life. Things like this is what makes me want to pursue becoming a toy designer

初期設定画では、ちゃんと鬣があったんですね。（べラリオスはありましたが）
見やすい動画のおかげで、購買意欲をそそられてしまいました。
個人的には、黒獅子の脚の付け根が劇中通りのシルバーでよかったです。
昔の超合金は黒だったので、短足に見えてしまっていたのが唯一気になっておりました。

チーフは、「宇宙ライオンなので、オスでもたてがみはないんだ」と言っていました。
