0:05: Eva is showing a lack of empathy for her sister, especially considering she's pregnant as well. I can't blame OP for leaving the party early since her family seems to be siding with Eva. You never really get over something as traumatic as a miscarriage. 4:45: Mark is an ungrateful jerk for insulting OP's cooking. If he can do better, maybe he should do the cooking. If I were OP, I wouldn't invite Mark to any future gatherings.
I would have walked right in and confronted the mom and Eva. I would have said my son had a meltdown, so we were delayed. Then I would have told them if they can't talk to my face, then I don't need them in my life! The fact Eva has dealt with fitility issues, you would think she be more understanding.
Well, what if Eva lost her baby? I'm sure OP wouldn't say something so hateful. It doesn't matter if OP already has a son, losing a baby is still heartbreaking. Eva needs to wise up and learn a little thing called sympathy before her own child comes along.
So speaks a woman who never lost a child! When I had a miscarriage, even though I was fairly new to the neighborhood women literally came out to me about losing their pregnancies. Miscarriages happen more often than most people think.
1. I feel so awful for OP. Their sister needs to learn how to be more understanding and needs to learn how to shut their mouth. OP did the right thing by leaving. 2. That friend is so petty and rude. Good on OP for not putting up with their BS.
It doesn't matter if it's your first child or your fifth; a miscarriage is extremely upsetting and understandably causes a lot of women to fall into a depression. Who wouldn't want to leave after hearing such insensitive bs? Imo, OP showed enough grace just by not calling them out in front of everyone. I feel for OP's unborn niece; I hope that little girl doesn't go through anything traumatizing in the future. "Listen, I know this has been hard for you, but you need to get over it. You're such a self-centered child who acts like you're the only one who's ever had to suffer like this."
First story: The sister’s comment is unforgivable. She was right to leave the dinner. Second story: The friend crossed a line between joking and insulting.
eva is literally about to be a mother...poor op though. i'm glad her dad and husband are on her side. what's really sad is that the women aren't her primary supporters. it really is sometimes the women in your life, the ones that can understand just a little more because of gender differences, that hurt you the most. op needs to take as much time as she needs, and if and when she does decide to speak to eva, she should explain how hurt she felt and possibly have her husband there to support her. but yeah what the heck was that?
who says they didnt use spices? the dude just wanted to insult them. if someone is cooking for you, why is your first instinct to insult the food? be grateful for the free meal.
I don't know if you're joking or not but you seem to miss the point! You do not come into someone's home and insult them! This person took the time to prepare a meal for his friends and this ungrateful fool decided to insult him under guise of "jokes "! Can't you understand how hurtful and frustrating that is to experience?!
How are you doing sweetie? How are you feeling? I hope just great!! In the very first story, she should have completely cussed her sister out for not having a heart and definitely for not caring. Losses like that will always weigh heavy on anybody. The main protagonist just shouldn't talk to her sister for several months or years, and the pregnant sister definitely owes her younger sister an apology because that was just completely messed up. The main protagonist doesn't have anything at all to feel bad about if she hadn't left, then there would've definitely been a figghht that happened, and the mom didn't even tell Eva off or discipline her so the mom is just as guilty too. Of course she isolated herself because lost her baby. They all are despicable. When some of my favorite celebrities unfortunately passed away, I cried and I cried because those were people who I literally grew up watching. Like Kobe Bryant, he was a basketball phenomenon who played with the Los Angles Lakers from 1996 to 2016. I started watching him in 1996 when he made his official NBA debut at the age of 18, I was 11 years old. In the second story, the main protagonist did the right here by setting his friend straight right off bat. He's a man confronting another man so he doesn't have to sugarcost anything or try to be sensitive at all because his friend wasn't being sensitive at all with his rude comments; his friend was just being a huge d*ck. Bump those other friends who had a problem with the way that main protagonist reacted because notice didn't any of them offer or bother to give him a ride home, no because they didn't want to leave the function. I love you!! Have a great day!! Stay safe beautiful!!
wow the sister is such an heartless asshole. miscarriage is nothing to joke about. it's hurtful & depressing & everyone grieves differently. it has only been a few weeks since she lost the baby. op should go low contact or no contact with her family especially her sister. good on op for sticking up for themselves. mark is just immature & childish like you're 28. grow up.
In the first Story: Instead of just leaving the Birthday of the Dad I would have contacted them, and let them know that you heard what they were saying, and that you're very upset about it. Story 2》 Hes not the AH。 And in my opinion, these friends are not real friend if they dont support him。 KyutieBeauty 💖
Hii Ellen I love the video and your outfit I hope that you and coco have had a wonderful day and that the both of yall stay healthy and safe also coco is adorable I love the both of yall 💜💜💜
Eva ruined dinner not her...I feel like if I was OP I personally would have left but let her SO and child stay. I would have gone for a walk or something after explaining to her husband. Because as the husband said her child missed their cousins. "Mark" was humiliating him first, cut off from being invited over.
Story 1: I understand where the family is coming from. They miss Op being around, so some hurtful things were said, but why can't they just check up on Op? Also, even if Op was around, Eva shouldn't have said what she said. She knew Op lost her baby, and she was still grieving. Op wasn't wrong for leaving, and her family should have her back. Story 2: op is not wrong at all. If his friend is going to insult his cooking, he shouldn't have accepted the invitation, he should've stayed home and enjoy his takeout and pizza. He really expected op to allow the insults while he's at his home as a guest, how pathetic.
That sister is really despicable she need to learn respect and empathy asap she will be a terrible mother with this attitude. And the second story her « friend » is a jerk. He seem to never cook, and none of is critic was constructive. He was mean just to be an ass****. If someone take the time to cook you something be gratefull an polite is the least someonecan do. Its tell a lots that no one choose to lift him.
I hate when people are in the wrong (talking about how losing your child isn't that big of a loss) make it your fault for having boundaries.
Her sister didn’t even bother to apologize , what she said was extremely hurtful and her disregard for her sisters feelings is a bit alarming.

Honestly, it wouldn't have made any difference! They would have gotten defensive and fought back!
Well, what if Eva lost her baby? I'm sure OP wouldn't say something so hateful. It doesn't matter if OP already has a son, losing a baby is still heartbreaking. Eva needs to wise up and learn a little thing called sympathy before her own child comes along.
Especially since she's struggled having a baby. She should think how it would feel.

That brat of a sister is throwing a lot of stones for someone living in a glass house 🤔

Your eye makeup is popping out more, so cute!

An amateur chef not using a single spice in the prepared dinner is criminal. The friend was absolutely right to call him out.

this Eva... if it wasn't for the baby... "Falcon Punch" Indeed. geez... some people don't deserve to be parents at all.
