Thank you for the video. It wasn't the intention of yours to tell me how to replace the bumper but that is what I needed and took from this. My broken driver slammed through the bumper and it ripped out the top with the piston/cylinder when I took it apart. I couldn't figure out how to re-assemble until I watched this.
I bought this nail gun as we were planning to renew all the fencing in our back garden. As this involved 19 double slatted fence panels, 10 of which needed to be cut down in size, we knew there would be a need for a great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxHQsUrwNr5GQrnx9V4xDdUr56qxwuiBHt deal of re-stapling the wooden slats to the wooden framework. Each alteration required the re-stapling of 62 wooden slats with double staples. Prior to starting the work we ordered sufficient additional staples as per the instructions with the gun.The gun performed fantastically throughout the entire project with no jams of misfires. The adjustable power was excellent allowing the staples to be fired into the 8mm slats to the correct depth. For the price paid this was a bargain and it proved itself to be so reliable and versatile making an arduous task much quicker and professional. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and it will be used on many other projects in the future.
Hey Thanks!! I hadn't used my nailer in nearly a year and it was firing and the driver blade was hitting the wood and leaving a puncture in the wood so I just assumed it wasn't feeding correctly. I watched your video and decided to open mine up and take a look. It was immediately obvious what was up. The old oil in the tool turned into goo and it wasn't retracting so the blade never backed off the nails to let a new one feed. A good cleaning and oiling later and it's like new! Thanks!!
Thanks for a great video. It was simple and to the point, a rarity on UA-cam academy. I have leakage out the trigger. Do you think your nailgun makeover would cure that symptom?
My nailer has no depth adjustment. Think you can help me make a troubleshoot diagnosis? With or without depth adjustment, should the nail sink to the head? My NR83A2 will sink a 3 1/4 nail up to about 2/3 the length, if I'm lucky. I haven't used the nailer regularly, so I can't recall if it ever sank the nails all the way. I can't discern an air leak in the body assembly. Could it indicate a problem inside the cylinder assembly? Thanks!
I think you should have put a bad part in the gun to demonstrate a faulty part. And I'm surprised you didn't test the gun for leaks after you put it all back together. Otherwise it was a very informative video and it gets a thumbs up and sub from me. :-)
cut a straight notch it it, and use a flat head screwdriver. or use a small cold chisel and try hitting it on an angle to spin left. those i find are the best methods , i repair these guns for people and have that issue often

You can remove cylinder by turning tool upside down and hitting handle on a block of wood. Cylinder should fall out.
don't even need to flip it. hit around the edges with a rubber mallet and it pops up
Only if your oring is real warn.
How do I fix spring on framing gun nails are not sliding down
I sprayed a bunch of WD-40 down the barrel and it fixed that problem.
