Hi,, how much is the universal plater price
great info, thanks folks. Would love to see more videos in the future. Thanks again. :D
Thank you for watching!
hi this is bhuvaneswar can gold plat on brass or copper?
Yes, brass and copper are plated the same as shown in this video.
great video, i think this producr would be best for me when i try to plate my brass statue i've been sculpting. i know a thin layer of gold tends to tarnish along with brass and copper over time so would you suggest i also buy a solution to nickel plate it then gold plate it afterward?
Great question. Brass is often plated with Nickel prior to gold plating. Nickel provides a "diffusion barrier" which keeps the underlying layer from corroding underneath the gold. If the gold is plated thick enough and the piece is not subjected to moist conditions, it may not be necessary to apply a diffusion barrier. Typically if possible and feasible a diffusion barrier is usually a good idea.
Gold Plating Services thanks for the info!
+Gold Plating Services Okay so @10:43 this is exactly what is happening to me except my power supply is only set at 5amps / 4.5v and I'm seeing at that range a heavy amount of gassing. I'm going to go switch it down to 4.0 to see if that fixes my problem and I'll get back here with an answer but thank you, at least I now know I'm over powering the power supply apparently.
Thanks for the video, this was my problem. I took the dingy coins and rubbed them down with a baking soda paste and it cleaned them right up. What is that (oxidization)? Either way, it cleaned up very nicely and apparently allowed me to put another coat of gold on this time using a setting of 4.7amps / 3.5volts and it worked great.
Your amperage is way too high. We are glad to hear that you were able to salvage it. This is a perfect example of "burning". Its best to have our power rectifier set to "automatic amperage" or "voltage control" if it has that, to where it automatically takes the amperage needed based on 4-4.5 volts. Typically you should only need less than an amp for brush plating, probably more like 0.1-0.5.

Does your technique apply to parts that are not plated in chrome also, because I have parts that are steel and aluminum that has lots their shine over the years and im looking to rechrome and also gold plate other parts? Im interested in this system?
Dose it show gold itself if we test it whether it’s gold or not? I feel worried things I bought.
hi there.
what kind of Nickel solution you use _Nickel Acetate or Nickel sulfate..??
Is this real gold dip, or just gold color?
Sir pls this gold sulition name
Does this work on brass?
Yes, brass is quite easy to plate onto. When plating brass you Electroclean first, then use Surface Activator, then plate.
