I reckon the Thunderbolts will have new identities (like Citizen V), as well as at least one other member. If 'the people need a USAgent' like Val said, why have his Russian counterpart as well? Giving them new identities makes the team more comic accurate (they're pretty big on comic accuracy lately), as well as a new costume for toys, and the obvious variety that brings. Plus, I'd say that we're probably getting another member that cannot be or has not been announced yet (maybe Abomination now he's back, or a couple of minor villains who can fill out the team and maybe get killed off? Or maybe the movie's villain will start off on the team..)
Re: Thunderbolts having a lowkey roster, remember that Falcon & WS introduced like a half dozen Avengers possibilities. Zemo's anti-SS team, JLD's Thunderbolts, Power Broker's Avengers, Isiaiah Bradley's grandson in Young Avengers, Falcon's (and what I thought would be Bucky too) New Avengers. It's Nolan's escalation all over. Some might not come to fruition or get crammed together but my guess is Dark Avengers is where we see the villain powerhouses.

Ooo… so the actor for “Thunderbolt” Ross being dead could mean that he can only ever appear in deepfake flashbacks and as a cgi Red Hulk voiced of course by Lou Ferrigno… Abomination’s absence confirms it, they blew the budget on paying dude’s family and the special effects.

I’m not worried about the Joker sequel. One of my all time favorite movies is Chicago, which has a similar premise. A main character (woman) locked in a institution (jail) who in her mind uses musical numbers to get through her time there. If you haven’t seen Chicago, go fucking watch it, it’s excellent.
I was initially disappointed by the lack of variety of the Thunderbolts roster. However, after thinking it over I’m actually intrigued by what they do with them. For starters, many of these characters have paralleling origins and can be paired off. Red Guardian and U.S.Agent are derivatives of Captain America created by there respective governments. Ghost and Yelena were trained assassins for Hydra and the Red Room at a young age. Winter Soldier and Taskmaster were brainwashed killing machines (maybe Bucky will have a vested interest in helping Antonia).
I have never understood why people think Indy and Han Solo are the same, especially since I like Indy and never cared for Han. Indy is an academic with this double life and it appeals to me I suppose.
Not to give Marvel too much credit re: Thunderbolts, but some rumoured members e.g. Titania are in ongoing/unreleased projects, so maybe they could be added as the projects conclude? Same deal for Abomination I guess

As often as I am uninterested in remakes/reboots dues to them usually just existing to squeeze more money out of a franchise I am pretty excited for Willow. While I love the original (it being one of my favorites since childhood) and I know many others do, it isn't really a movie I think exists in the public consciousness like most animated 90s Disney movies.
