Hey Didhi! I am actually on my STUDY PERMIT at the moment. It will expire exactly on the 25th of September 2024. I will be done with my masters around the first week of May 2024. Is it possible for me to go home between these months? Should I apply for a work permit and then go home? or do I need to wait for the work permit to arrive in hand and then go home? Do I still need to apply for a TRV to come back?? I am very confused didhi and I don't know how to proceed with this.
U can travel. Just make sure u apply for work permit within 60 days of graduating. As long as you have a visa on your passport which isn’t expired you should be fine. Just make sure to return before it expires
Hey Taniya, I have a question, I and my husband were on study and Spousal open work permit in canada till Nov 2023 respectively. I recently have come to India because of my pregnancy, I'm due in May 2024 and My husband is still in canada working for an MNC. Before I moved we both applied for extension of our permits and immediately in 2 days we got an extention till march 2024.
1.My husband wants to visit me during my delivery (as I'v decided to deliver in India, Mumbai) in this situation what would you suggest, when should we apply for TRV for him and if we apply now I think we'll get the trv till march 2024 (as we've got an extension till march 2024), is it a good idea to wait for proper 3 years' extention and then apply for trv?
2. And, what if he travels to india in may and he gets the trv stamping request in canada.. can he raise a webform and change the address and request authorities to send the passport request at Indian address?
Ur correct. Most likely TRV will come till March 2024 so that might not be useful. An option is to apply TRV from india itself but the drawback here is that you both will have to wait in india till the TRV gets approved
hi i applied for TRV after getting my work permit but why i visa stamp is valid till the expiry date of my passport rather than based on the expiry date of my wp?

But recevier name is showing sci kone not a ircc .is it on right place where it delivered and still is no update when iam tracking a small Envelope
The address is correct. Not sure why it says that name. Wait for a week and see because it was the holiday time so that’s why probably no update. If still no update, try raising a web form and also calling IRCC

Thank you so much for the informative video. I just would like to ask that recently, We applied TRV after getting PGWP but somehow the stamp came as visitor instead of worker. Is it how it should be ?
Not sure. Since mine says worker
My ielts is expired. However I clicked yes where they ask weather you given english proficiency test. Will it cause problem? Tensed
Did it ask if you’ve given the test in the last 2 years? As far as I know u don’t need an IELTS for a TRV since you have a valid work permit

Within 1 week of receiving the passport, they stamped it

Yes you can. But check the processing time since you’ll have to be in india and can’t travel back to Canada till your TRV is approved.

Just a quick question , I am coming to Toronto for studying same course as yours in HUMBER COLLEGE, the question is that course duartion is for 1.5 year including co-op right, so can I start working just after graduation , I mean everything will be fine or it would be trouble , in context with long term ????
Can you elaborate your question? I’m a little confused. So as soon as you graduate, once you apply for your work permit you can start working asap. But u can’t be working full time on study permit.
@@TaniaHemdev I mean after completing 1 year course in advertising media management , is it okay if I continue job on pgwp basis or I have to opt for studies in 2nd year !?

How much it takes for trv to get approved?
Mine took around 2 months but it depends on current processing time
Can I leave Canada after studies and come back if I have a TRV and few days left in study permit (Applied PGWP but don't have it in hand because I am outside Canada)?
Yes! U can. U have a valid study permit and TRV. Maybe carry a proof that you’ve applied for work permit and ur good

Kitna time lag rha workpermit ana mai any one knw i m in canada ryt now Maine aply kia tha 31 august ko mai spouse par aya tha meri wife ka study permit a gaya next year 2024 tak mera visa expire hua 31sept.extension mile muja dec.tak ab mera kab tak a skta visa any one knows coz muja India jana jan mai
I’ve been hearing that right now it is taking people around 3-4 months. You should check the processing time on the official website
