In my opinion, I would say invention of recycling plastics and using it with the asphalt for roads repairs is the best of the inventions for me, because, transportation plays a vital role in the development.

One came up with the idea to make a push bar hitch so that the shouldering machine pushes the truck along. As long as it's an uphill grade, the truck does nothing. Not applicable everywhere everytime but very useful for us especially when using same trucks, same machine.
Road widener only is as good as the prepared surface .what they show is absolutely Shit ,putting road base on top of the weeds and grass and I didn't see any compaction of the road base.

Rough surface still requires hand finishing with curb rollers. Similar machines vibrate & slide along but water content & slump of concrete mix must be tightly controlled. Too little water gives firm but weak concrete. More water = more slump = longer work time = no savings.
Lets just completley overlook the generation of electricity for thousands of cars connected to that roadway, or making it safe from children or other people deliberatly trying to short it.
You are absolutely right brother even people going slow get punished by the jerk of speed bumps infact going a little faster as compared to very slow gives less jerk but damages the suspension seals I used to go a little faster knowing what's the use of going slow if getting rattled by the bump but I damaged the suspension by doing it on regular basis.

Anything less will be temporary and a waste of money.
One, like to see the moving ones function all winter. Two, use to have built sports car barely streetable. The traction bars would bottom out on things including speed bumps.

The problem is that the towns, cities, etc would have to foot the bill for the installation which is vary expensive. Taxpayers would ultimately pay the price and most do not use electric vehicles as they are not currently as cost efficient as gasoline vehicles. Tesla is about to change that but for now they are not. There is however much more effective means for propulsion than electric which will still be a long time before we see anything like that unfortunately.
There's also the potential for fatal injury from that electrified rail in the road, and the fact that all those vehicles would get stranded in a power outage.
You better work to find a new clean source of power. Full électric véhicules are not the solution today and for the long time... The problem is where do you take the energy. You just displace the pollution problem whit electric's vehicules.
I also noticed that it looks like a roof shingle. I wonder what happens to that patch sheet when it is hit by multiple snow plows over the couse of a northern winter.
I did that at one of my jobs. They had a pothole in their asphalt right by the gate. After 2 months of driving across it, I showed up early with a pale of cold patch and fixed it myself. Boss thanked me.
Rather than paving more of the planet, why not think outside the box and create smart tracks? A monorail mounted above the ground that provides not only power, but traffic control and navigation. Let the rains fall on the ground where they belong. And drive your vehicle above the trees rather than knocking them down to pave over the earth.

They tried to do something like that before, they ground up tires and mixed it in the asphalt. The people who made the roads didn't like it because the roads lasted longer and used less asphalt so it was stopped.

I like the curb machine probably because I used to do some of that work. The electric rail is interesting, but I don't see wide rollout in the US if you only have 2 out of 10 KM done now.

I like the curb machine probably because I used to do some of that work. The electric rail is interesting, but I don't see wide rollout in the US if you only have 2 out of 10 KM done now.

That road widener thing ?? How is that a road widener? It just puts sand and asphalt down on the shoulder which is 99% of the time soft as shit and dosent have the same base and compaction as the travelled roadway, it's liability lawyers wet dream that's what that is.
