These old true stories are a part of history that is not taught in schools. History is a major part of our life. We can learn much from it. Hopefully young people will find your channel here and watch it & learn a great deal more about our American culture and history.

Awesome story!! I'm so glad that Zona's death wasn't overlooked by county officials. It is sad that she died the way she did, but she got the last words in through her mother. Revenge can be sweet with the right circumstances. Thank you again for a great story 😊

JD this is absolutely some great spooky dooky stories lately! Well done! My maiden name is Rains, I have a LOT of relatives in the Tenn and NC still in these old appalachian mountains. Man the stories that were shared from my grandparents, parents other close family members had/have a Boo Coo of stories. Some of which are quite unbelievable, from how living life in those rugged mountains, to crime, to spookiness. It's an amazing way of life, hard but honest so much so that they were so self sufficent, poor or no, that when the great depression hit most didn't know unless someone else told them. I appreciate and love your channel, you have a great story telling voice. I watch you and another man (Mr. Donnie Laws) I only watch you 2 gentlemen. I love any and all stories, good or 'dark' of my ancestors and their way of life. My family branched off and ended up in a little town in central NC in the late 1800's called Boone Hill, known now at Princeton, NC. Anyway, again, thank you for your awesome upload.

I love this story. There is no doubt in my mind that it's true. I do believe spirits walk the Earth, and that their awareness of us comes and goes just as our awareness of them come and go. I do know that our ancestors watch over us, and help us as needed, as long as we are seeking guidance and help from them, and that they know and understand our struggles when it's needed. I wish everyone who has had a loved one who died by murder would have the chance to have their loved one testify in this manner to them, but I doubt everyone knows how they died. And their living family members may not have the ability to see things of the spiritual realm.

There is definitely something unsettling about cemeteries. I got swarmed by flies like in a horror movie once whilst going rockfishing. I looked up and saw the cemetery on the clifftop above and felt a ominous feeling. I think now that it was a warning that I might have had an accident and drowned. I went somewhere else to fish. Whilst researching my wife's family pioneering history I had to stop visiting graveyards. I was feeling the sorrow the next of kin felt.

Many people claimed they saw it. Not sure how much they had to drink when they saw it. But I've seen a few things when drinking also. Lol . Good thing I grew out of that stage of life.

Thank you for this video 💕 I know Sometimes my dreams have been about the day after I have it. Like a fore warning. Once I dreamt about my great grandmother. My grandmother was 11 yrs old when her mother died. She had held a grudge against her mother for dying and leaving her and her dad alone to raise her 3 brothers. As a child she would destroy photos of her and never liked to talk about her. Jesus gave me a dream of her standing on top of her pine coffin, wearing a long white dress that bellowed in the breeze. She had long black hair and God said she wore a size 3-4 shoe. I said naw..it was probably a 6 or 7 but God flashed big numbers before my face and said 3-4..okay ..He made sure I knew the correct size. He showed me it was dusk or dawn. On a sloping hillside. A archway was at the entrance to the Cemetery. Her dress had a high neckline and long sleeves. She was beautiful. I told my granny when I woke up and she cried. Later on she took me to her brother's house in Ohio to his attic and pulled out the picture of her mom..laying in the coffin, leaning up against a corner in the room. Everything God had shown me in my dream was in that picture. The photo had lightning flashing across her coffin. I asked granny why and she said it was a sign that she was a Holy woman of God.. She gave that photo to me and I still have it. My granny was small but had boats for shoes. She wore a size nine, triple A. She was blown away that God had given me all those details about her mom...especially the correct shoe size she wore. I also get many dreams about the future yrs ahead of me yet. I've gotten pretty used to people thinking I'm crazy until Jesus proves them wrong. God can show us many things! And it doesn't take a witches board to do it! 🙏 🙌 ❤
