so if the race organisers went the wrong way up the road shouldn't they ensure peloton slowed down to keep the gap what it was? seems absolutely ridiculous it would happen in the first place let alone not fix up their screw up by ensuring the gap was maintained ??
Hard to say Evenepoel is not a GC rider after he'd already won a Grand Tour and a number of one-week races. You don't think the crash at Itzulia and yesterday may have impacted him?
Unfortunately as well as 'armchair generals' we now have 'armchair experts' who pronounce on the cause and inability to makes things safer for riders, 'we' just have to accept these incidents, all from the comfort of his armchair and having ABSOLUTELY NO ACTUAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPECIFICS OF THE CRASH. With friends like ex-rider Matt Stephens today's riders need no enemies! Making such comments with no investigation of the ACTUAL circumstances is grossly irresponsible and betrays the riders. If such fatalistic approach had been widespread we would still have air crashes regularly and cars without crash protection etc, just accepting problems is just dumb.
How can such a thing happen in a professional race like the Dauphine. Holy smokes!
Criterium de Cretins.
Yeah , they made the course and they go wrong way ffs 😊
@@russcott5129 Don't forget their shiny new roads, so grate in the rain.
Welcome back Roglic

Our Slovenian beast Roglic and Pogačar 👍💪🇸🇮
Seems Roglic is back to his form. Let see for the coming stages in how long his endurance can keep up.
GC Gee!
Yes Roglic, go boy!
Only roglic and jonas can match the power of pogachar
Very lucky pogacar not join this tour
Sepp "I just signed a big new contract" Kuss
Yeah kinda disappointing, tdf is just around the corner and sepp not even 90% of last year
He was sick?
and they say remco will beat pogi😂
I told everyone after the Time Trail. Remco is a good rider. But not a GC rider. He is good but no where near a good GC level like Roglic

@@andrasszabo1570he has won the easiest vuelta for years. He is a very good rider but might not be a top tier gc rider
Tomorrow Remco will loss minutes
Remco very disappointing...riding like a novice he will not do anything in tour de France riding like that...rest of the team absolutely crap
"Blitzes his rivals" No clickbait here. He beat them, a blitz means totally wipes them out of the picture, 3 secs to Remco, is blitzing no one.
No, I think blitz is perfect here. Blitz is a manner of victory, not a distance.
Also going into the lead is a massive blitz. All he has to do now is sit on wheels ;)
@@brunospasta
There's no sitting on wheels on todays stage. The attacks can and will come thick and fast, perfect terrain to unsettle the GC today.

It was a massive pile up. Shit happens. Has happened and will happen in the future. Move on.
