Man that's some dark areas if doc thought he couldn't see the enemy in warzone he's gonna have a terrible time with this.
the skins will probably have neon lights to highlight them in such dark corners, plus this demo shows the training intro, not the actual map.

Everything before the gun pickup is perfect, from audio to environment. Something about that gun and the flash when shooting gives me kiddy vibes.
Yeah, the good pick up is terrible and the flash is crap. But, its still super super early. In another few years hopefully this game will be pretty good!

This is the dimension the Doc came from.
Doc has already explained what this game is, several times in several ways. It's a FPS Vertical BR with Tarkov of some sort thrown in. He originally described it as a BR in a tower that you can think of basically as on fire. You start at the bottom somewhere above the fire as the fire continues up behind you. Until you eliminate enough other players you can't progress up and the fire keeps taking away playable area. The top is the "extract" for the final team that survives it. Now who knows how any of his original vision will have been changed in the final version, but that's the gist of the game he is making from his own mouth.

Good concept idea for a game. But he definitely ran before he could walk on this one with his claims of how good it looks. The irony is him being ripped to shreds. Similar to what he does.

The environments looks pretty good, but the weapon animations (reloading, equipping, etc.) need improvement imo. It’d be awesome to see a short animation like Doom 2016 where the character goes to the wall & physically picks the weapon up & inspects it instead of the weapon just appearing in their hands. Overall tho, looks pretty good
No way they don't improve all the animations, they're gonna be COD-level at least...no point of working really hard on animations if shit is just gonna change later in development

I agree. I think the sprinting animation is chalked. Looks like he should be running 10x faster with the way that weapon is moving
Don’t take too much from what they’ve shown. The game is in such an early stage of development that almost all aspects of the game will be improved on.
remember that he's wanting this to be a high paced, competitive game.. so I think for equipping guns it's always going to be more on the quick side to keep the pacing up, especially if you are mid fight

First of all it's their first game that they ever made and secondly it's nit even alpha gameplay, so it got a lot to improve , i guess the game will be released in like a year , total 2 years i think in development .

@@dakota6832 it's called being transparent. Thousands of people ask for an update every day and it's cool to see the gradual progress. Rather give a new game from a new group a chance than the same old rinse and repeat bullshit. Just be patient.

Heck your right kind off does have that mix of retro and cyberpunk 2077 with more apocalyptic feel which i absolutely love is the apocalyptic experience Doc's game looks alot better than cybershit 2077

I would like to see better gun graphics and background scenery. If the background scenery graphics is lacking then you’ll feel alone in the game if it is single player. Should use MW running animations. In my opinion. I’m excited

I feel it needs to be about 22.5% darker. Then, when you play this wearing the google prototype scopes, you won’t be able to see a f*ckng thing.
This FPS looks pretty cool and even has some good lighting and cool environments effects hopefully its for the xbox series x

Love the stylised look to this game, definitely had the Doc written all over it, although the movement looks a lil janky, was hoping for more violence, speed, and momentum.

As of now, it looks like a new fallout 3 aiming animations Mod but this is extremely early stages.

i don’t really know what they’re supposed to be showing , I don’t think anything was needed , r they showing the environment? Graphics ? The engine ? The art style? Because all of it isn’t very good it’s obviously just some tech demo and literally nothing is finished and I know that I’m not calling it bad because of that , I’m just saying it looks very generic , looks like it will be free 2 play , boring FPS with no uniqueness visually or gameplay wise , I hope I’m wrong 🤞

@@EskimoClay1 But the purpose of a prototype is to make it perfect and polished, even though it is just a snapshot of the whole thing. The part you're going to pitch to the world, or publishers... the (prototype), has got to be polished.
Anyways, they're doing a much better job than I ever could and I'm genuinly curious as to what product they'll release.
Also, can't wait to see doc play his own game. If all goes to plan, we will never hear or see doc rage again. Lol :)

So many people out there commenting like this is some sort of alpha release. They are just haters or don't understand the concept of a snapshot release (especially the 1st one!!) This game is 2-3 years away from an alpha release. I'm honestly blown away with what the team has accomplished in such a short time. Love the name and I think the first snapshot does a great job of conveying the aesthetic you and the team are aiming for. Great choice on the UE5 engine.
That's not why people are commenting. People are commenting because of the claims he made a few weeks ago about literally "being able to screenshot what we have right now and it already looks better than CoD" I'm paraphrasing but it was words to that effect. So based on those comments that snapshot was very underwhelming and very disappointing and his claim to be blunt was simply not true.
The game concept is a very very good one. What he has shown is impressive for a small independently made game with lack of funds but was a farcry away from the claims he made about it looking better than CoD which is what people are commenting on. Because when you compare it to CoD it does look shit. Normally people wouldn't make those comparisons because or perspective CoD is a AAA title made by the biggest dev in the world. But he opened himself upto those comparisons by actively making that comparison himself.
The irony is he is youtuber who rips into games and Devs. Sometimes like in the case of mw2 that aren't even out yet(which is biased and unfair) and now he's on the recieving end of the same treatment (biased and unfair) looking forward to seeing how he handles it.

this is 6-8 months but likely only the "pre alpha" of the starting area and not all of the development shown, i would imagine.

Because it’s so early they just don’t have all those things finished yet or in that build they showed off. Trust me Doc won’t let something like that slide. This game will be extremely detailed when it’s fully released. That’s just who the Doc is.
