I played this mission in 4K, 21:9 Ultrawide, and on the highest graphical settings. If you can, I suggest watching iin fullscreen on at least 1440p or 2160p, but the lower resolutions will work if your internet can't handle the latter. Enjoy the video gamers!! @@courier8365 This looks like Recruit difficulty, you can see most of the combatants from 17:14 on, all the way to the church are wearing hooded rain jackets, in Regular difficulty, they're all wearing armor, and is a meat grinder. I could be wrong though.

Even though this is the most difficult mission in the game, this game puts stealth to the test which is something I think was executed pretty well. I think the crafting mechanic is actually pretty good overall. Also this game is one of the best looking titles in the franchise to date

i did this on just regular while doing the achievement and it was so fucking hard near the end u just gotta spam smoke bomb and just run as fast as u can to the gate the nthe truck lmfao and hope you get lucky

I never knew it was possible to complete this mission without dying
I tried to do it on realism, never again
i’ve died about 40 times so far just on that mission 🫠
Now try to get the achievement of not firing a gun. It took me about 2 hours to complete this mission alone lmao.
I played through the whole campaign on realism, it took twice as long as on normal xD
I’ve only died once because after a while I was trying to see the next passage way because it’s odd I kept going into a circle. Mission easier if you’ve played assassins creed and any other games.
Tbh this is my favourite mission as a stealth fan. Shows how these characters aren't one man armies.

Look, with some luck, maybe it's possible to pull this off even for civilians. So it's not always "one man army" way, but your statement is still possible!
As a stealth fan, it sucks balls, it’s trying to be something like Splinter Cell Blacklist, big open environments, gadgets shit like that, the problem is Call Of Duty is an FPS, the systems aren’t meant for stealth, even though it’s pitch black and enemies are clearly not wearing or not even equipped with NVG’s they’ll magically see you, they’ll see you through smoke and make perfectly accurate shots, but again they aren’t wearing goggles so it sure as shit isn’t thermals that let them see you
@@elderrusty541 I get what you're saying. I still like the mission but I see where you're coming from, in that the systems don't accommodate stealth in the same way stuff like Splinter Cell or MGS does
@@0uttaS1TE yeah, if they’re dead set in trying to make missions like this, especially with more time for the next few games, they need to take the time to update the AI for missions like this
i really like the crafting gimmick on this mission and the last mission, for once you need to think what you gonna do with what you have and not gun blazing all the time, and explore the surrounding to get some resources, on top of that each item have crafting animation on it, so cool
and i also like that Grave's man kinda afraid of 141 especially Ghost lol, the dialouge on this mission and interaction between Soap and Ghost is funny and humanize the characters

@@MuhammadZhafran totally agree. Through war one in as an afterthought. Seems much more like a dmz mechanic. And the fact they let you use armor plates in the campaign like in war zone. Just seemed very tutorial like to me. Can’t wait for DMZ
Creeping around taking them out one by one and hearing them proceed to talk about how they should still be on high alert because it’s 141 they’re dealing with is the most satisfying thing
I absolutely adore this mission because of how lonely you feel in it. And I also love the connection Ghost and Soap have, really cool how each member of 141 has their own dynamic duo, like Price and Gaz.
I can agree this is one of the hardest missions in the game. Even though it’s one of the hardest, it’s by far my favorite mission in the game. Also, heard that this is a sign of what’s to come for DMZ.

This level has shown me that most COD fans have never played a stealth game before

These stealth missions get better and better every year, you went from simply crouching behind walls and following characters under cars to a literal crafting system and the option to go loud without getting surrounded by 1000 enemies that can one tap you
i didnt know there was a crossbow in that mission :O
that actually makes me excited to see it in multiplayer if its at launch, that was one of my fav dlc guns from 2019

I played on Hardened and holy shit this mission was one hell of an intense experience! I died a lot and I had to rethink my understanding of the fight up ahead and create a new plan each time I died (especially when the enemies find you out of the door near the church). Also, the interactions between Ghost and Soap are simply fantastic and sound generally human, I really like the grounded approach IW has taken in this series.
Gonna have to do that tmr, you should try out regular (or hardened) with no guns shit was something else having every encounter be close and having to conserve all your materials ‘just in case’
The worst shit for me is it would save a checkpoint at the worst times putting me in a death loop until I figured a plan of action for as soon as I load in the game
@@gamecrazyoo1 the checkpoints were terrible in this game😭 the hardest part was literally getting to the tunnel that gets you to the church and the final part where you are surrounded by the heavy armored guys
Same and it’s really got me questioning if I want to do a veteran run
I’m so glad they included more stealth missions in this game.. I loved the sniping with Price, (I forget the name) and this mission as well, it made you test your skills/ patience. Overall this was a really solid campaign. Kudos to the team on this one!
The mission name is "Recon by fire" and it's probably tied with Alone as my favorite mission

I like how this game pass to be a FPS action shooter to a stealth with a little survival horror theme for sure this one of the Best campaigns in the CoD franchise.
The dialogue in this game is truly next level. I loved every bit of it.
What a relief, I thought it was just me having a huge hard time with this mission. Took me over an hour to finally get through it after so many trial and errors
The banter between soap and ghost is kinda adorable but at the same time hilarious and sweet 😊

I fuckin' love it when stealth is encouraged in games, the stealth approach is my favourite, which is why I enjoyed this mission the most with the early access of vault edition.
Another dmz mechanic that is showcased in this mission is the “wounded” state that soap starts off in. He has limited movement, doesn’t have the ability to climb high ledges, slower walk and sprint speeds, distorted vision, also when falling from high places you fall to your knees and need to recover… it’s only after you take a stim do you return to normal movement mechanics
This mission feels like there are endless possibilities as how to go about completing the mission. So I'm going to play this over and over trying different routes and tricks.
By far my favorite mission in the game. I've played it so many times that I'm able to complete it without any enemies being able to even get a shot off.
Imagine being in 2009 playing OG Mw2 and some guy from the future appears and says "In the future, there will be a cod mission were you craft things like in minecraft"

I’m assuming the gameplay of this mission (slow movement, hold breath to aim all weapons, crafting, etc) is going to reflect how the DMZ game mode is going to play. If so it could be a really refreshing take on multiplayer gameplay in COD. Looking forward to it!

My computers bottlenecked by my 1080 while I save up for a more current GPU, didn't stop me from enjoying the campaign though. It's cool to see the game maxed out in your vids!

This level separates men from boys. You can tell who plays a tactical shooter and who plays COD multiplayer only.

Just did "alone" on realism, while also doing the achievement where i used no guns.. it was.. an experience to say the least
Oh gosh dude that sounds like hell. I did all the trophies on Easy first before a Realism run. This mission even on Normal, with guns, was brutal.

I don't understand what people dislike about this Level.
It changes up the situation, your being hunted. But you use actual Guerilla Warfare & Utilize the Shadows to your advantage. (Unlike CoD Ghosts)
In my opinion I love it when CoD tries to change it up with new ideas.
CoD has the opportunity to make a fantastic Open World FPS Game.
Just imagine it.

bro the hardest part for me was getting through the tunnels it took me 3 hours of respawning and even the game glicthed for me it wouldn't let me fife guns I had too equip molotov again top fire

The last “reach the church” part is near impossible when I’m running like a wounded snail with no ammo at all
There’s a stim in one of the locked boxes/crates. Can’t remember which one but it lets you return the character to their normal state in terms of movement

This mission made me rage, the bulletproof enemies are dumb as hell like what the were they thinking? Also on top of that getting stuck in doorways and getting shot just made this mission so annoying and unbearable.
A cool easter egg in this mission, would of been if velikan was one of the heavy armor shadow's. Like with the lion paint on his mask.

Somehow one the checkpoints right after you find a knife in the neck…. was me getting detected and killed instantly. I didn’t wanna restart so after 15 times I just tried to sprint right as hard as I could. This mission hurt lmao

Love the game, but the only thing I hate about this mission is if soap is a wet work operative, special forces, etc etc, but yet he needs a knife to take someone out. He could just choke them out then take their knives or whatever

I said that mw2019 was the best game cod has made
But MW2 literally undid their mistakes with Vanguard and any other cod they couldn’t get right in the past
But it made other mistakes like adding unfinished stealth mechanics or those cheap ass in game cut scenes that just take u out of thd actual experiene.

After you first beat the mission, keep playing over and over. That way you’ll get better at it, and beat in less time. That’s how it went for me anyway.
16:00 the blood looks so realistic in water
After watching 17:25, I realized the game wasn’t being dumb and I was just dumb. Soap was just laying there and I died like five times. One Tim from a grenade and two times from two shadows shooting me from behind. I was so confused, I thought the game was bugged. But, I just wasn’t being smart.

This game bro... I stayed in coffeeshop downstairs to take equipments fast. However... They came in and I couldn't load any earlier checkpoints. From then it was completely squirm. Also the guy pouncing on the door is not allowed to shoot in PS4 version
