  • Milorganite is an all-purpose, slow-release nitrogen fertilizer that safely feeds your lawn, flowers, vegetables, shrubs, and trees for up to 8-10 weeks after application.
Milorganite fertilizer is made using large-scale processes that mimic nature; microbes (bugs) digest the nutrients found in the wastewater and are kiln-dried into small pellets. A bag of Milorganite is composed of heat-dried microbes that have digested the organic matter in wastewater.

It’s literally the best stuff I’ve ever used! All of my neighbors use professional fertilizer people and I use milorganite. We all have irrigation etc. and guess what, my lawn is thicker and darker than any of theirs. Amazing stuff

@@MiguelMorales-fd2eh@MiguelMorales-fd2eh When you use Milorganite with other fertilizers, we caution you not to over-apply nitrogen fertilizer. Check the label of the product you applied for timing instructions. Typically, after 4-6 weeks you can put down an application for Milorganite. Milorganite doesn't contain salts so it will not burn your lawn, however, your lawn can only take up so many nutrients. Over-fertilization can result in nutrient runoff into our waterways and wasted money, product, and time. Over-fertilization can also stress out the turf plant and cause disease issues.

Hello! Trees and shrubs surrounded by a lawn regularly fertilized will need little or no fertilization. They’ll get their nourishment when you fertilize the lawn. Those grown in planting beds or landscaped areas with no lawn may need to be fertilized, especially in sandy soils, which have little or no organic matter.
The best way to determine whether your trees and shrubs need a nutritional boost is to have your soil tested. Your local county horticulture extension office will likely offer this service. If soil testing isn’t an option, look for indicators that your trees and shrubs may need to be fertilized: leaves that are pale-colored, smaller than normal, or dropping at odd times of the year, or twigs and branches that are dead or show stunted growth.
