I really felt sorry for Betsy 😢. I have done the Sani a couple of times in a Land Rover with four-wheel drive in low range. Once, it was in July with snow all over the place. You guts really are brave, well done. Merry Christmas 🤶 and be blessed with your trip.
It's really great that you got the opportunity, and did it twice! Essentially, Sani was a test, not only of Betsy's capabilities in preparing for the rest of the journey, but also for us to learn and explore the limits. Some of the roads that lie ahead will be difficult, but we always say "well she did Sani, so I'm sure she'll be fine." I must admit, Baviaanskloof was a bigger challenge, but mainly as there were low overhanging branches that kept us busy for four days. She did blend in nicely with the surroundings, and I'm sure if she could talk, she'd say; "Again, again:-)". Those unexpected moments made good memories, and we really enjoyed Lesotho. @@MartinPienaar-nv5ik unfortunately we never set up a drive in Balito as we were there in December of last year, and the campsite prices were way over our budget. We moved inland towards Howick and Clarens instead as we could afford the campsite rates. Thanks for watching
