I love this video so much. I’ve been to SJC many times and will be heading back at the end of the month which will my first time back post-CVD. So excited. So cool seeing you both enjoy my special place. Great video. Thanks. 🙏

We went there last September and I agree it’s a wonderful place to go. I liked the quiet, tranquil feeling of being in a place that wasn’t touristy. Great video!

I second this, going there soon with our 4 yr old and your video helped me what to expect, I was worried about the safety while there and what to eat since we are vegetarians, but looks like we don't have to worry about either

I know this is old, but do you remember the name of the cute yellow motel with the tile on the front steps? I have been there but can’t remember the name and would love to stay there? Thanks!

NEVER go to SJDC in the summer LMAO
Go once hurricane season is over in Oct. Plus the heat and humidity is over by then too.
_Only a fool goes there in the summer months._

Let's keep SJD a secret, I like there's a lot more quiet. Leave CSL to the drunks & "woo girls".

    Hi guys!
    Awesome video.
Do you stay in a San José town hotel, or in a resort?
We are planning to go to San Jose in May.
    You baby is so cute!

Beautiful video, thank you, I just want to point out, at 16:41 you mention that Sinaloa is pretty much entirely ruled by the cartel, I’m from Mazatlán Sinaloa myself and I can’t tell you with all due respect, that is not true, the news make it look worse than what it is in reality, and that’s because obviously they want to persuade people so they don’t spend their money here.
The cartel exists but they operates mostly inland in rural areas and they don’t bother people, much less tourists, but the bug elephant in the room is that there’s cartels in America too, or who do you think distributes the drug on the other side of the border? But they like to call them conveniently “gangs”
Don’t be afraid, There’s many Canadians and Americans living here normally and asked them and they’re going to tell you unanimously the same thing: they feel mostly safe.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We have yet to visit Sinaloa for ourselves, so we appreciate hearing a local’s point of view.

Thank you for your reply. I deleted the question because I thought it might sound stupid. I've watched about 6 or 7 of your videos so far and just finished the accessories video for the 2nd time. I'm so frustrated with my Nikon 750D because it takes such dark pictures and I want something easy. I'm not sure whether I should buy a small camera that takes video or a go pro 10. Again thanks for the reply. Great work on your videos….or blogs or whatever they are called. 😊

If you want a camera for photos, stick with a DSLR or mirrorless camera like the Nikon. I had a D750 and it was one of my favorite cameras for shooting in low light.

@@GeminiDiscover Thanks for your reply. Because of what you said, I am now watching and learning how to properly take pictures. I didn't know I had to use the ISO button to control brightness. No matter what I did, all my pictures were very dark. Looking forward to getting some decent pics in Alaska. Thanks.
