My friend, I believe what you have there is the Springfield 1911 "Loaded." I know because I picked one up last year. It's a hell of a piece. I can't even shoot, and I group one to two inches around the bull. In addition to the 2 mags that came with the gun, I buy nothing but Wilson Combat mags. Good Shooting, Marine. I like the one with Target sights better. Not sure if I'm a fan of the guide rod. I've never had one with a guide rod. I know I could take it off and replace it with a traditional plug setup. I'm just confused about 45 vs 9mm. I've never owned a 9mm, but I have owned several 38 Supers and kinda want to go with that for recoil, but there's something about 45 that's hard to pass.

Hello brother, I have a Kimber Stainless II as well.. all 1911 are good to shoot. Many shooters that I know also likes the Rock Island Armory 1911’s…. And of course we have the high end 1911’s that will really brake the bank😊. But to compare, I would say that I like both my Kimber and Springfield. At hindi sila kalayuan ng price, halos parehas lang 😊😊. Wilson Combat 1911’s are really good too.

Next 1911 purchase will not have a 2 piece guide rod.
Target sights are a downgrade cause there are moving parts that can break but the ones with tritium bars are nice.
