She has got to get Saturday and Sunday on their own page! I use the dapper desk because of this reason. I would love the coil and beautiful covers but I NEED Saturday and Sunday on their own page!!!!!

You pronounced Beaufort correctly! My brother lived in Beaufort SC and I remember him telling me how it was confusing because there was one in NC but pronounced differently. Beautiful beautiful area!
I had to look it up! I didn't know those 2 cities were pronounced differently! I have heard it is so beautiful! I would love to visit NC and or SC one day:)
Maybe someday I can go with Simplified. It is a shame that the planners don't work for me in this season of life as the artwork is so beautiful. If they only made their notebooks with more pages and an actual a5 size I could've done that but, nope, they don't work either.
I understand! Sometimes the things we find so beautiful just aren't what we need in our season...like you said...maybe someday!

I had to come on and watch this again. 😊 I am loving the weekly as much as I hoped I would. And that blue on the inside cover is just stunning! 😍 I agree with you, the Birdies cover just keeps growing on me more and more. I also really love her mini notebooks!

Great video. I was unfortunately dissapointed with the changes they made to the weekly. I loved how portable their old weekly was and for this size it feels like a missed opportunity to seperate the weekends. If its possible, I would love to see comparison to other similar planners. The one I'm most curious about is Ashley Shelly.
I believe this is my 4th or 5th year using the Ashley Shelly planner. I love it! It’s light weight, has great paper, lined monthly and the horizontal layout is very similar to the simplified weekly. You didn’t ask me but I just felt like chiming in because I adore the planner creator & the planner Lol 🙂
I can definitely share Ashley shelly next to it in stories on Instagram when I get back from picking up my son and driving him home from college. I am about to leave tomorrow and I am sick. So I am sorry I can't get that to you any sooner! Remind me on IG in 2 weeks if I haven't shared it;) Another with a similar layout is Golden Coil & Day Designer Weekly- which I will have a new review on soon. I have LOVED Simplified planners in the past and really wanted the new weekly…BUT, I went with Erin Condren this year because I haven’t had one in 7ish years! We’ll see how it goes. I got the 7x9 vertical because I love the versatility. I also need full weekends.
Sometimes we need a change;) The EC Vertical is the layout that I used for many years!! I hope you love your EC;)
I wish there were more Blue color options for the Emily Ley Simplified Planner this year. Blue is my favorite color & she usually has more Blue options (I don’t like the birds or the flowers). Hopefully, next year…💙😢💙

I fell in love with the birdies cover as soon as I saw it. I got the weekly. I’m still in a calendar year blush magnolia for some health tracking because of the times. I too could kick myself for not keeping covers over the years. I could reuse them! 🤦🏻♀️

It is always a struggle to choose. I have never used a Simplified Planner before, but this year, I really love the design and the colors. The artist’s work is stunning.

Could you do a comparison of Emily Ley and Erin Condren’s paper color? I LOVE Emily Ley planners, but I never liked the paper color. It looks as though the color has changed? Is that true?

Just in case I lose my marbles and even consider buying a second daily planner, I saw your pen test, but how does the paper compare with Erin Condren, in your personal opinion?
It is just as thick and luxurious feeling but different. I really like it. it's smoother than EC paper- no "tooth" or texture to it;) And I had to LOL at "lose your marbles". I am here for ya!

It will fit bc it's smaller than an A5...it is a lot smaller. So you can stick it in there...but it won't line up with the other a5 petite planners you have in there.

Hello Amanda! Great video! Love the artist cover! I’m a diehard horizontal weekly planner. I value portability and am heartbroken 💔 over the changes this year. I’m currently looking for a portable horizontal planner for next year. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!
I am in Utah right now picking up my son at College- so I don't have access to my office shelves for ideas....but I will tell you what I have off the top of my head. I am thinking you want bound only- So bound & horizontal are: Papier (haven't reviewed yet). Leuchtturm (on amazon), EC Softbound A5- but new ones aren't out till the fall, Aura Estelle has some Horizontal layouts too and all portable. Sorry that is all I can think of off the top of my head. Honestly, I don't think they make enough book bound planners- that are functional and portable.

I only have wide & a5 PP covers. SO you would just have to compare the size of these notebooks from her website measurements to the measurements of PP B6 Notebook size- or just google b6 size...it's a standard size;) Sorry I don't have the exact right size of cover to try them out for you;) Okay- I just looked it up....they are just about b6 size a tiny bit off....but I bet it works;)

Yes they will:) Their new covers come out for academic launch and start in August. And then those same covers are repeated for 2025 Calendar year;)

I wish wish WISH they would stop putting their logo in the middle.of the front cover. It ruins the gorgeous artwork and just annoys the cr@p out of me.
that is 100 % the other problem I have with them. The cover artwork is stunning but that takes away from it so much. I really wish they hadn't even put the gold foiling wording in amongst the birds on the artist edition either. The back bottom of the cover is enough.
