I know this happened a year ago but by law the apartment manager have to tell new tenants of a previous death in the apartment they are moving into. so therefore they would have got that information from the apartment manager
You can sue them . I would sue them and use documents that prove that man was dead for a while and stunk up the building and your home .
Video tape and ask your neighbors to sign and say they have not complained against you for being loud . You can still leave but yes, sue them because this so so wrong and evil of them
They have to have proof that you were being loud , they must have documents such as real complaints signed and they should have police documents also
They can not put that eviction on your record! It isn’t filed yet ❗️ please get your neighbors to sign a petition or something that says you guys aren’t loud, and they’ve had no problems with you! You can get free assistance from non-profit law offices, the apartments have to prove you are being loud and come up with the noise complaints! You also want to be sure you want to fight landlords, it’s one of the hardest battles to win!! But can be done ✅ I went through an eviction, but all the landlord wanted was money!!! They have to give you your money back if you already had an eviction, before you payed rent 😡 This sounds like to me you need to fight it!!! Please look for non profit law offices in your area! They will advise you! Look on your eviction papers , there’s numbers on them to call too, well, should be! Many blessings to the both of you please don’t let this destroy your spirits
Damn that's messed up. A family member of mine is going through something similar at her complex in Marietta. I told her it was something fishy behind the reason they want them to move. They are basically evicting the whole building she lives in.👀👀👀 I think it's so they can charge new tenants more rent than they are currently getting.
