I added you along with Handsome or Handy & Funk FPV.
I generally stay away from Aluminum though and liked that you pointed out potential oxidation issues with Al.
Great hot detector & current clamp. I have two kill-a-watt meters are great, and even a cook needs fire.

Thank you! The aluminum oxidation thing is engrained into my head after a bad experience I had with an ac unit. Those meters have been great.

@@reallifetested2605Aluminum and Oxygen rapidly interact, so the contacts ideally would be soldered?
My 1970 house is copper electric & water feed, sad part is cast iron on the drainage, but I’m trying to keep her going.

@@TamagoHeadI had a buddy that had a cast iron sewer line that rusted through. That was a fun smell, and fun repair haha

Heh. I have a 50’ auger, but I’ve had to call in the big boy plumbers with a 100’ because I couldn’t hit the clog.
I use the same plumbing company that brought in a master plumber to re-do the pressure regulator and add on another cutoff valve, and Solar PV is sone stuff I’m pondering.
I love FunkFPV and Handsome or Handy, Scotty Kilmer for cars, and I’ve seen their channels grow, hopefully as will yours.
Basic home & car maintenance can save you big bucks over the years.

You’re welcome! I did industrial troubleshooting maintenance and repair for a little over 10 years. While running tree service and landscaping business at the same time. There was always something broke and someone had to fix it haha

6500 running watts generator, what size ac are you running with that? Most split systems have a heavy in rush amp loads to start them, mini splits do well with generators, was curious 🧐

I’m not sure what size they are, we have two. One for upstairs and one for down. They cycle the compressor on for a few seconds before the air handler comes on. Maybe that’s to do away with the large inrush? They are a trane energy eco unit whatever that means haha

@@reallifetested2605 they might have inverter compressors instead of the standard compressor, that’s what most mini splits have, very low amp start ups
