I went to my neighbor’s wedding. One of the guests said that he gets a medium black coffee in an extra large cup so he can dump a Red Bull in it before he drives to work. He was REALLY INTENSE. I tried it once and I could see through walls.
The redbull coffee reminds me of the time a kid at my college told me about the "super coffee" he makes when he'd do all-nighters during finals week, which was coffee brewed normally, then poured back into the water compartment and brewed again with new coffee 3 times, then heavily sugared and milked. Awful

When you think about it, it's easy to see why the green tea was one of the worse. When you make green tea, you need to brew it at a lower temperature and for a shorter amount of time or else you scald the tea and it just taste very bitter. I think this is what is happening here.

It would be interesting to see a cold brew variant of this. I don't usually do cold brew, but experimenting with "infusing" these drinks with coffee, might provide some more palatable results? Especially with some of the drinks that are carbonated or milk based, since they would not be heated to the point they go through a transformation. Maybe even something with those Co2 fizzers, for some of them! It also would be much more attemptable at home, without having to sacrifice a machine or equipment to the cause. But from my experience tea does "coffee". Lived in a town with horrendous water so I made pots of tea to drink instead of water, as an attempt to drive off the chlorine and mask the smell. Wanted a quick cup before work so I pulled out the Vietnamese dripper and poured a cup of coffee with filtered tea water. It was surprisingly adequate actually. So much so that I've repeated it multiple times on other occasions. I did use black tea and it was unsweetened and I do like bitter robusta ristretto. So that might put me in a different category than some drinkers, for context.
Woah! The redbull and coffee one is a drink I used to make as a special when I was a barista!! Mine was called the Red Kaiju, and it was 8oz of Redbull on ice with 2 shots of espresso over it, it's really good! And a little dangerous too.

Eggnog with coffe sounds a lot like "cola de mono" a tradirional Chilean christmas drink, tho you do it in a huge pot and add the coffe slowly to avoid all that burnt-acidic flavor
They only way I think you can get green tea to coffee is if you brew coffee and then steep your tea afterwards. Green tea is so delicate, the heat from the coffee machine probably kill all the good notes and brought out all the bitterness.
I like insight from random beristas, sometimes they have custom drinks that are not on the menu. One time I asked for something sweet, cold, and caffinated, but wanted them to decide on what drink. There were ads on the windows for energy drinks and smooties, so I thought ide be getting something like a rebel from Dutchbros. I received a blended drink that was yellow in color and smelled something like lemonade. It taste what can only be described as a fermented lemon warhead candy! It was so bad! I asked what it was; basically a blended lemon drink with a shot of espresso. So when I saw the orange juice I had flashbacks of this drink and screemed NO NO NO at my screen, but you didn't hear me. Hopefully you recover better than I did. I still shiver when I think about it.

Watched this video because I knew guys in the military who brewed coffee with redbull regularly. I'm glad it seems like they weren't completely sacrificing flavor to up their caffeine intake.
Coffee lemonade is actually pretty popular around me! They always do it with cold brew though and it is a 50/50 mix, like an Arnold Palmer, not brewed with the juice lol There is a brand "Rise" that sells a few canned flavors as well, and its pretty good.

Theres a coffee and redbull cocktail in my home town, I think it has gin it in called a the Bull Brew
I've been waiting for her to upload for a year
Is it bad that i thought the Tazo Green Tea bottle in the thumbnail was a bottle of Olive Oil and she was going to do some weird mega Bulletproofe Coffee thing?
Nice video! I was a barista for 5 years and always relate to your shorts.
The coffee brewer also probably burnt the green tea. I would guess that separately brewed unflavored green tea added to coffee might not be so bad. But green tea does burn at temps above 160F
Red bull coffee is my go-to drink during convention trips. :) When you're pulling a all-nighter fixing cosplays, a nice *warm* cup of red bull coffee is needed :D I also once brewed coffee with a Monster energy drink.. That I admit was a mistake
i can see how the red bull coffee would work since it’s a vaguely (very vaguely) similar idea as an iced coffee & tonic drink, which is very tasty.
this video was definitely a journey, an adventure, an experience if you will. But regardless, it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing that I'd never thought I'd have the opportunity to take part in, and yet here I am, looking at someone brew coffee with OJ and redbull and enjoying it.
100% a new sub, I'm looking forward to the next cursedbang
Eggnog with coffe sounds a lot like "cola de mono" a tradirional Chilean christmas drink, tho you do it in a huge pot and add the coffe slowly to avoid all that burnt-acidic flavor
i have vivid memories of myself and many others brewing coffee with red bull in a hotel room on a high school marching band trip
I still shiver when I think about it.
...the cat cameos are half the reason I watch these vids! I love the reflections in the microwave! ...and Ms. DrinksCoffee...these vids are really great. This has quickly become a favorite channel of mine. Thank you for all your hard work! I hope you have a very happy December and New Years!
This was definitely an interesting video. I think the eggnog would have worked better in a cold brew setting since it doesn't normally handle heating very well (at least in my experience).
I wonder if you brew the eggnog coffee like a " milk tea" instead of through the coffee machine, if it would faire better?
Alright, fair enough, you have earned that thumbs up. I am now also very intrigued by that Red Bull coffee but I might use it with an Aeropress, not going to risk any of coffee equipment...
Now that's an 11/10 slide. This video though, incredible, I have no words.
8:52 _MDC has discovered energy drinks - +200 Stamina_
The coffee brewed with Red Bull reminded me of the following joke: "Today, I accidentally brewed my coffee with Red Bull instead of water. I was already half way to work, doing 130km/h on the highway, when I noticed I forgot my car at home".
Seing her drink the redbull coffee I remembered the futurama scene when fry drank 100 cups of coffee..... i personally add guarana powder to some expresso coffee when I need that absurd amount of energy
I would imagine the eggnog wouldn't be terrible with a good quality instant or flash frozen coffee.
also whisky coffee.
I kind of want to try to steam egg nog for a latte
8:50 just watching this gave me a heart palpitation
Kinda wish you could do this with James Hoffmann. There's just something very amusing imagining him going "Oh, oh no. No no no." For 20 minutes pretty much 😄
This reminds me of this old meme, "I made my coffee with Red Bull instead of water this morning. Now, I can see sounds!"
Ah, this takes me back to when covid started. My family ran out of creamer, and while I will drink black every once in awhile.... I needed some flavor. So, I took an Arizona Arnold Palmer packet, added it in a cup, and it was... Decent.
Morgan your poor tastebuds. The things you do for science. The sacrifices. Brave af
Hello Morgan, been following u for a while now. I’m a barista from China, our shop offers a specialty drink called vcboost, which is freshly squeezed orange juice mixed with a shot cut short, in the summer people here seem to be either loving it or hate it. Anyway, great video content as always!
Idk you but i clicked on this video because you looked wholesome and like the best friend i never had ;-;
I've been pondering redbull coffee for ages. This has given me hope. Thank you
I finally had your youtube channel suggested to me after watching your tiktoks! So excited!
Thank you for a good year of keeping spirits up and smiles going. Looking forward for what you do this next year. Happy holidays to you and yours.
Loving the little detail of your voice getting WAY faster after the red bull coffee.
For Christmas just try a mug of black coffee and put a shot of Cointreau (orange liqueur 40%ABV) .... then you taste the deliciousness of orange taste in coffee ...
Oh .... if you don't like coffee, do it with real creamy chocolate milk (like we have in Europe) .... you can't go wrong with orange taste and chocolate
This is a far more scientific version of the coffee video Brandon Ferris put out some time ago 😂 love it!
I have been putting a green tea bag in my black coffee for like 5+ years. It’s nice
Watched this video because I knew guys in the military who brewed coffee with redbull regularly. I'm glad it seems like they weren't completely sacrificing flavor to up their caffeine intake.
Coffee lemonade is actually pretty popular around me! They always do it with cold brew though and it is a 50/50 mix, like an Arnold Palmer, not brewed with the juice lol
There is a brand "Rise" that sells a few canned flavors as well, and its pretty good.
I'm about half way through this video and am enjoying it, but after listening to the bg music, all I can think is "Caffeinated ears on a stand."
I would love to see another one of this but substitute the Coffee. Toast and grind different stuff, like red beans or pumpkin seeds or whatever.
Next episode: Fellas! Dont drink that coffee! You'll never guess! There was a fish in the percolator!
