“You can hit me, but only for one damage, and by that I mean zero damage. You will take three for every hit though. Also the cards I discard give me energy, damage, and block. Plus I get regeneration.”
Timestamps for when Jorbs picks up the card and relics in the thumbnail (Calculated Gamble, Tough Bandages, and Tingsha): Calculated Gamble: (24:20) Tingsha: (28:06) Tough Bandages: (30:06) I love that he gets them back to back. Like, the Spire just said "here, you want discard relics? Take then, take them all!" And the Hovering Kite to go with it, too!
Just started watching this run, wanted to point out how much I appreciate little tidbits like prayer wheel makes you want to go for the blade dance silent rather than poison silent... It really pushes me to think differently about what my relics mean for the future of my runs instead of just my short term "beat act 1" goals
shiv and poison aren't the only two silent archtypes in the game, discard choke/eviscerate/sneaky strike/grand finale/flachettes/skewer all work as well.
I see chat during the run was worried the Defect won't be in STS2 but one of the cards on the STS2 trailer that appeared on the shopkeep's rug was Claw, so I'm pretty sure he'll still be there in some form tbh.
19:00 I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with that reason for preferring smaller streamers. Fewer viewers means more natural/meaningful interactions that are closer to an actual 1 to 1 conversation. It doesn't have to be toxic or predatory, and in fact I admit I *am* unsure I see what exactly is predatory about it. I'm assuming maybe you mean because smaller streamers might feel less inclined to ban toxic viewers when they have basically none to begin with? But idk, as someone who has dabbled into streaming but never even started getting big, I did have some awkward interactions with weird viewers here and there, but if they were *actually* toxic or creepy, I'd just ban them /shrug

The weeb is strong in this one

Tough bandage is so nuts my favorite relic ever, just solves so much. The pure dopamine of seeing this in shop makes kt so hard to pass calc gamble
I thought this combination of relics was familiar but the run didn't until I appeared at the forty-odd minute mark.
Was fun to rewatch!
Holy crap, something about StS that Jorbs didn't know!

insane that you caught that
claw is law
these two relics together are kinda sick :)
The number of offerd sneaky strikes is insane haha
If there are no cultists in STS2, who will wave the sticks?!
Maybe there will be Sticks, that wave cultists around 🤔
I glossed over this title in my notifications for some idiotic, asinine reason- this sounds beautiful
Tungsten + Intangible. Nice
What a start!

you can say its a silent run, but i can hear a person speaking
I notice headshots are easier to get when i peak gremlin nob on higher frame rate
Hi Jorbs, what was the experience of streaming something so mainstream like Elden Ring? Saw someone talking abt it on chat and got curious

I bet jorbs is a rule utilitarian
Jorbs talks about Long War 2 as if he was a dev, or as if he was going to spill some gossip.
jorbs did work on lw2
Makes sense! But he didn't say anything salacious @@Indy4Cookie
1:14:35 the silent is stealing block from the shield lol
