Not only will people leave merchandise from other vendors in your space, but your things may end up in someone else's, too. My mother leased a space at an antique mall and often times would think an item had sold, but the shopkeeper would have no record of it in their sales book. It was usually found later in someone else's booth. It would be nice if the store owners could place a few signs around for customers asking them to return unwanted items to where they found them.
The still life oil painting is by Mihaly Balogh. Hungarian artist. 65 is a great price for that piece. It’s worth twice as much. Beautiful!
I think it’s pronounced Bay- log. I had a teacher in high school with that last name.
One on a selling site for £18!
That Christmas tree made of dollies was so unique and beautiful ❤️
The camera you are filming with is amazing. The colors of the items you looked at were so crisp and vibrant today!
She once mentioned that the camera was $1500, and it shows! I am always amazed by the quality as well
This is actually a cheaper camera than that one! Haha. This one was $800.
@@CrazyLampLady what kind brand is it Jocelyn?
@@CrazyLampLady It did an amazing job!
I was thinking the same thing!
Looks amazing!
The slippers you thought were cute and funky around time 13:59 look like Chinese shoes for bound feet.
That is the first thing I thought of as well.
My thoughts also. Really interesting!
Exactly what they are
Those should be in a museum. That was a terrible tradition.
Yes.....exactly
Omg tha tblack and white rooster!! In love!!!
Our daughter attends college in Western MD... minutes from the Pennsylvania line. I’m going to have to make a cross country drive so I can hit all of the amazing antique shops in the area! You find the best places!!
The black colorful cat is gorgeous!!
$10 for the little kokeshi makes the taller Korean bride & groom pair of kokeshi look reasonable at $25
When I visit antique shops I always gravitate towards the very expensive pieces. I’ve learned I must have good taste. Loved all you picked and I’m sure you’ll have no issues selling at a profit.
The Jamaica pattern is an imitation of the Red Wing Tampico pattern,. My grandparents had the Red Wing Tampico dishes. My parents got them, and now I have them. Definitely MCM!
Yes! A gorgeous painting looks like spring 😊 love the colors 👍❤️
My 78 yr old mother is from Okinawa Japan. She has a collection of Kokeshi dolls and other amazing Japanese treasures.
Love your interest.
My husbands family is from Okinawa too. My mother-in-law gave me her set of vintage Kokeshi dolls that I love and treasure 💓
@@DayTripVintageCo that's wonderful.
Lots of tradition and family keepsakes ❤
When you pointed your finger, I went, what a wonderful fan and you went for the Lucite lamp. It made me laugh at the different things that attract us all. The fan was gorgeous!
I looked at fan as well lol.
My younger son made a dice like the pair you bought about 50 odd years ago in school arts and craft class. I still have it amongst my objets d'art. 😊
I have a denim jacket that I embroidered 40 years ago love it
My mom' was Colombian. A few years ago I traveled with my family to visit. I bought alot of Molas. There is a market in Bogota.
I love your antique store videos I don't get to go to them very often. I learn a little from every video. I loved the Foo dogs in Kenny's booth.
I love the cat with bright colors!
Great tour! And no need to force yourself re: brass. If it’s not your aesthetic and you’re not drawn to it, that’s ok 👍❤️ I appreciate how you focus on items that speak to you and that you genuinely love. 😊
Not a fan of the brass at all.
I don’t care for brass either but I’ve always adored good copper🤩
Yeah same with brass!
Wow, the colors are vibrant today!
I love the owl lucite paper weight!!!!!
Japan, Korea, The Philippines, Central America, a trip around the world today. What fun stuff. 😀
Mala! Woot. Thank you for teaching me about that art!
at 8:27, blast from the past!!..i used have an amber pitcher like that !! my youth is becoming antique !!LOL
Love watching and learning
More great pieces. I appreciate another great video. You're doing an amazing job!!
I didn’t realize Molas went for so much. I have several that we brought back from Panama when my dad retired from the Army back in the 70’s.
5:23 the swan at top is gorgeous !!
I love the mask and that lamp.
love the frogs ad that stunning pink glasspiece
I got my Halloween "Banana Box Antiques" t-shirt today. Yay! I love it!
That geese piece is wonderful!
At 28.00 for that owl purse I feel you'd do well. The unique pieces in your Ebay shop do so well. You always find great unique pieces.
The turquoise Foo Dogs again!!! I want them!

The Hen on Nest at 20:02 is amazing! I would love to have her in my collection! I have over 25!
I love your hair color very pretty!!!! Those brass chicken and rooster brass pieces were amazing!!! I see so many pieces in the shops you visit that i have owned in the past, i wish i had hung on to them!!!!!
I love the little dog
Love the kitty 🐾💜🐾
Pinkie and Blue Boy figures at about 8:00, I think they're actually under the shelving - I love them! Oh well, that settles it, you've got to go back for them. ;-) lol Thanks for another fun shopping trip!
I like the owl purse!
Love the little white dog
Loved the still life....would have scored that. The frame alone looked to be worth the buy.🤗
at 1:14 those elephant book ends fabulous !!
Ohhhh Goebel owl is sooo nice!!!
That still life was beautifully done.
We bought a new mobile home in the 70's that had two of those ball swag lamps.
Love giraffe and ostrich glass pieces.
21:39 beautiful cat !!!!
Thank You for another great video. I really appreciate Your knowledge.🌹
Pixie dish gorgeous and the jacket!!😊
at 1:06 that jean jacket be so cute on you !!
I would have bought that still life. It was incredibly beautiful!!
My grandmother had an extensive owl collections and she had identical to what you found at 19:20
I finally found my first trinket box! Woohoo!!!
The Goebel owl is lovely.
I have that pixie ashtray! My mother-in-law made it years ago!
you missed Topo Gigio. He was on the shelf after the brass bunnies. He was my favorite on Ed Sullivan Show growing up
Shows my age, but I loved him, too.
Me, too! “Good night, Eddie!”
Yes, I saw his giant ears too !!
The pair of shoes you liked were handmade for women who had their feet bound. They are either 3 inches or 4 inches long. The company went out of business in 1999 due to the fact no one bound their feet anymore.
My little booth ALWAYS ends up with 'visitors' from other booths, every time I go! lol. I think people just move things around willy nilly. I'm not thrilled about brass either, so... don't feel bad.
Mine too. Our shop makes you find out what booth it belongs to and put it back yourself 🙄
Get Your shop on!!!
You have Sssoooo much stuff!!!
🦋That still life painting is nice, but the frame is valued more than the painting.
Happy Halloween!
The beautiful still life oil painting 🖼 is by Mihaly Balogh, a Hungarian artist. I do not have a paid membership to Worthpoint, but he had 3 painting values there and at least one smaller landscape for sale now on ebay. I loved the colors in that still life and really enjoy your videos, both metal detecting and Crazy Lamp Lady. Good luck with your booth; your NFS cabinet in the corner was a find of a lifetime! The booth is looking great and will be even better when fully stocked. Any idea when your shop might be finished? Thanks!!
I learned a new word today...“Mola”.
Antiques market place yeah , let's go shop.
Mihaly Balogh is a Hungarian artist. The painting is worth double of the $65 asking price.
Love white lamps 3:38 🥰
Happy Halloween from TN 🎃👻
It's so interesting how we have different tastes! The $110 vase made me scrunch up my face with distaste, and the Lucite lamp made me think of spiderwebs 🕸 gross!
Just goes to show, whatever your style, there are buyers out there for all of us. 🙂
I shuddered looking at that vase too - reminded me of the network of veins on my forearms!!
It is your right !! I see things I would leap on and Jocelyn just doesn’t even glance at so it’s really fun seeing a different perspective on things :)
I usually don't go crazy for owwls, but I LOVE that Goebel owl. Probably because of the smoothness and sweet (not angry) eyes. Also, the brass cats are very MCM.... maybe you could grab them next time? :)
At 20:52, there are grey and red planters, which I think have pixies on them, and are from Cameron Clay Products, from WV.
$110, no wonder I like it! Lol! I do/say the same thing many times when I'm shopping!
At 20:53 the 3 vases caught my eye.
An easy way to determine the percentage off : move the decimal point one position to the LEFT. So for example , if an item is $10.00 and it was 10% off it would be $1.00 off. So for 20% off just double it for $2.00 off and you would pay $8. For an item that's $25.00, 20% off would be (10% = $2.50 multiply x 2) for a total of $5 dollars off and your cost is $20.00.
I've always believed much easier way to figure out price you'll pay with a percentage off is to just multiply the percentage YOU WILL PAY x the cost of the item. So for a $25 item with 20% off, you will pay 80% x $25 = $20 final cost. Only one math step involved - pull out a phone calculator if can't do the math in your head because it's still only one one process - no moving decimals around and extra adding & subtracting. Hope this helps someone.
Love this! Thanks for sharing. I finally got the gist of percentages and discounts.
@@antonellabassi3466 Happy you got it! It's such a uncomplicated way of figuring this out. An item price and percentage off can be all over the place with oddball amounts, but you still apply the same plain and simple concept. Whatever method works for each person is fine - you still end up at the same place! 😊
The Chinese tea pot I don't think is broken as in ceramic handle, mine has an over the top rope and wire ,set up.
It connects over the top of the pot via the two lugs
“Out in the wild” 😂
Good morning from California
I know this is an older video so I'm not sure if this is already been answered or not but the artist at 17:18 is a Hungarian artist named Mihaly Balogh
The winter fairy u lifted had a tray in front of it u put on the shelf with abalone shell from Mexico I have one and it is made of silver I would c if still there and check could be worth some money good luck
Thank you
Chinese bound foot shoes can sell for $150 up. The older the more valuable.
Kokeshi doll 💖 BONANZA 🥰❣ Nice animals, all around.
"$110 dollars; no wonder I like it" vase. 🤣 Me too❣ Well, Jocelyn, we have good taste, and the cream rises to the top, LOL! 😁🤪😎
I have a piece similar to the el salvador ones. I found it this week and it has info on back abt history
Definitely understand your issues with brass. To me it looks dull and cheap and there are so many more attractive metals out there!
Those 2 art pieces that are hand-sewn are worth much more than the asking price. I forget the tribe, an island people who make them. The rarest I've seen was in the 1970's with a TV sewn into the design.
Lol made ceramic Christmas some 30 years ago, must be vintage.😊
Happy Halloween Jocelyn!
The pair of embroidered little shoes at 13:58 are Chinese.
They would have been worn by women who had been partaking in the ancient traditional art of foot binding. The end result of which reshaped and reformed the foot into an almost rounded shape resembling a lotus blossom. This traditional style of tiny feet was revered for their beauty within the Royal households. The silk embroidered shoes were works of art in their own right.
Went back to see & I had no idea what those were. Thanks.
You forgot to mention how horrifyingly painful it was.
Oh I was going to say the same thing. amazing how small they are.
@Barbara MacKenzie wasn't it practiced also against the will of females?
I went and read about this foot binding.. one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever read 💔
I love that jean jacket!
Love your makeup today
