And if you seriously want to get into a "plot hole" argument, I have one too: _magic isn't real._ There's always a level of contrivance in sci-fi and fantasy. This season was phenomenal.
This whole thing about Vi sleeping with Caitlyn while Jinx goes to kill herself is so freaking annoying! Vi didn’t know that’s what Jinx was going to do. All she said was that she was going to “break the cycle” which could’ve meant anything. Vi likely assumed she was just going back into hiding or something.
People do sleep together while under immense stress - it's how they don't go insane. You can see this most often in hospitals with surgeons for example (yes I used to work with hospitals, yes it's like softcore porn in there). It's either that or alcoholism. This wasn't about love, this was 2 insanely stressed out and desperate people just needing to release tension.
I mean, I get where these criticisms are coming from but I really don't share them. Honestly, nothing of what Vi did felt to me like it was out of character or like it didn't make sense plotwise. She was a flawed character since the beginning of the show; always having the best intentions but often making bad decisions. She even says so herself.
@ if people have criticisms with the scene, that’s fine. I just don’t understand what is giving people the indication that she 100% knew Jinx was about to kill herself. It’d be one thing if Jinx said “I’m going to kill myself” or something like “I’m ready to die”, but she didn’t. I swear, sometimes it’s like people purposely ignore details just so they can make a meme like that one.
I excuse that with the stress and expectations Vi had in that moment. Vi is very emtional, we've seen it multiple times, and got distracted by boobs, which is understandable. Leave my bad b1tch Vi alone😂
I'm just realizing after this image 2:40 that Powder was hiding the necklace so she doesn't have to explain it to his own Ekko ("by the way, I kinda cheated on you without knowing, but it was an alternate version of you so is fine")
If you think about it, it gives more reason to his statement about patience. He was the only one out of the cast who didn't aggressively go after his goals, and everything he wanted came to him.
Singed got burned in S1E3. That's quite the L. Him getting captured at the rally was deliberate. It was his plan to unleash Warwick on a highly visible rampage so that he could attract Ambessa's attention. He wanted access to Noxian resources, and their extremely permissive view on human experimentation would make his work much easier than Piltover's ethos forcing him into the shadows.
Wow, great work, I really liked shots about forgiving. It helped me to understand Arcane even more, that I already did. Also, thank you for necklace reference. the single one L and problem i have with arcane is that we NEVER got the true final warwick so my hope is they legit show us in time he is still around was found by singed and restored for further experimentation or he healed himself back after the explosion, but fleshy and full wolf that would honestly be rly welcome and much needed cuz tbh trailer warwick was godlike in how cool he was we still need that everything else in arcane was AMAZING
What trailer Warwick? I loled so hard at robowick, they could have gone more steampunk but instead they made Lunar skin in the Transformers kid cartoon style.
I too was a little confused by Warwick's appearence. Did they think he was too much of a furry before for the emotional scenes and so they turned him into more of a Big Foot? It does make me wonder how this could affect the games, because they kinda need to explain the difference somehow sometime with Arcane now being canon. I think they are likely going to say that Singed gave Vander a new body somehow or that the Warwick we see is some kind of clone that has some of Vander's memories. Because I don't think the Warwick Mains will be happy if they make Warwick not a werewolf anymore
@@luckluca8982 In his lore it’s stated Warwick only turned full wolflike after dying in a half-wolf form. So the ending is how he BECAME the true Warwick.
The only thing that saddens me about Maddie's death is that the bullet came so fast that she couldn't process fear. She died thinking she had hit Caitlyn, which makes me a little angry xD
that's what I'm thinking as well. In this timeline Victor gave the rune which would allow Ekko and Heimerdinger to figure out time travel. Of course it's also possible that given that hextech research looked at discovering lots of runes this might not have mattered.
Short answer: yes Long answer: we see him try to give Jayce different runes at every cycle, and this is the only timeline in which Hextech exists and Jayce successfully stops Viktor. But he's able to do that only thanks to Ekko blowing Viktor's head, and he can do that only after he and Heimerdinger create the ZDrive in the AU, using that rune as the key. Jayce uses the same rune to teleport\disappear with Viktor and the corrupted Hexcores. So yes, Viktor finally chose the right rune and created a timeline in which Jayce stopped him before he destroyed the world.
People saying the last episodes were rushed and left many plot lines unanswered are delusional. The writers were planning for 5 seasons, had to wrap up with the second one, and still delivered a masterpiece. In the long history of rushed and imperfect endings, this has to be the less rushed and less imperfect ending of all times.
what's kinda disappointing about warwick is that... well... we really didn't see warwick in arcane. we saw vander turning into a monster that has some of warwick demeanor and abilities, and then we saw that monster turned into a slave soldier. the whole early mutated vanders up to jayce ruining everything is an amazing buildup for warwick, everything about him after this point is simply a let down. not a shred of warwick's personality was shown. vanders could have been turned into dr mundo just as well and the only difference would have been the choreography of his fights. warwick in lore is a punisher kind of anti-hero, he mercilessly hunt and kill criminals without much regard for other things. he's not a mindless beast, but more a sentient creature that is both savage and bloodthirsty. now i understand the real warwick didn't really fit in the story they were trying to tell, especially since he only works when zaun is a dangerous place riddled with crime and they were going towards that zaun allying with piltover against a common enemy. so maybe he'll come up in some later stories. warwick recovering from that kind of blast would really not be so surprising, especially when in his initial lore, dying was the catalyst that enabled his final transformation. what we missed is a character that would drop that sort of line: "the chains are broken the beast is free" "blood runs... they all run" "can't save you all... don't want to" "all the blood you spilled brought me here" "not even your screams will escape" about caitlyn: "so deep in piltover's pocket i can only see your hat" about vi: "who taught you how to punch?" in comparison, i was jumping on my chair at every little hint towards orianna and nothing about it was ever disappointing.
I honestly thought Jinx was gonna still mourn yet eventually find self-growth after Isha's death instead of almost instantly burning down The Last Drop and wanting to blow herself up and in the ending leave everyone who believes she's already dead behind in Piltover and Zaun on that airship.
Honestly, I only have 2 complaints of Season 2 1) I did not like the pace. Everything happened so fast. The show deserved one more season to give the Noxians occupation, Warwicks rampage, Ekko's Z Drive, Viktor's ascension, Cait and Vi reuniting etc. more time to stretch their legs first. It was just conflict straight to resolution like that. I wanted to spend more time with all of the these plot lines. 2) I'm just playing favorites. Zac is one of my favorite league champs, and I would have liked to see him and more champs from piltover/zaun even if they were just chaos happening in the background. It would have been perfect to see them come out of hiding and defend Piltover/Zaun in the finale, too. Imaging Zac emerging out of the pipes, rescuing innocents from viktor's chosen. Twitch poisoning and slayong Noxians. Blitzcrank being a hero, grabbing people to safety and speeding away. Mundo... doing his thing. JANNA showing the f*ck up. I could keep going.

Victor didn't have the strength to survive without Ambessa offering the assist from Singed and didn't have the power to control all the mechanical soldiers until he reached the Hexgate core.
And after Jayce saw Piltover and beyond completely annihilated of _course_ he abandoned his conflict with Zaun. It's be insane not to.
Also I didn't say harsh scriptwriting I said harsh script editing. There are signs when a script is butchered down.
And if you seriously want to get into a "plot hole" argument, I have one too: _magic isn't real._ There's always a level of contrivance in sci-fi and fantasy.
This season was phenomenal.
2 Smurfs, Singed who just chills and pretends he's low Elo, Ekko who just diffs everybody and top frags.
1:42 Vander having Vi’s name tattoo on his hand?! Stop! I’m gonna cry again! 😭
Controversy? What controversy? It was an amazing show.
@ yes they had tension to release, but let’s be clear, these two are very much in love.
Thank you for explaining the necklace in S2E7. I was waiting for someone to explain it
Glad it was helpful
I'm just realizing after this image 2:40 that Powder was hiding the necklace so she doesn't have to explain it to his own Ekko ("by the way, I kinda cheated on you without knowing, but it was an alternate version of you so is fine")

VICTOR GOING NEW GOD OF FEAR AND HUNGER WAS A MEME.
Swein's raven is just another great reference. I fcking love this show.
I thought that Raven was related to another character in League who I believe is a Raven too but I didn’t know that it was Swain’s Raven
Best shot, Victor shows up with his puppets and they are all posing in the window.
Aren't memes supposed to make me laugh?
I'm crying.
It's different with Arcane 😅
3:52 Ekko: Dormammu I've come to bargain
Singed literally had only 2 losses in the entire show getting chocked out and having to cut his hair d literally everything else was a win for him
If you think about it, it gives more reason to his statement about patience. He was the only one out of the cast who didn't aggressively go after his goals, and everything he wanted came to him.
@ yea he literally waited for every opportunity and played his cards perfectly
Singed got burned in S1E3. That's quite the L. Him getting captured at the rally was deliberate. It was his plan to unleash Warwick on a highly visible rampage so that he could attract Ambessa's attention. He wanted access to Noxian resources, and their extremely permissive view on human experimentation would make his work much easier than Piltover's ethos forcing him into the shadows.
@ I was more talking this season but yea the burn was a l

Wow, great work, I really liked shots about forgiving. It helped me to understand Arcane even more, that I already did.
Also, thank you for necklace reference. I was confused by it, but now I realised its meaning.
Also I loved episodes 7,8 and 9 shot to shot comparison.
Great, great video as always. I'm with you chanel almost everyday for a month now, since Arcane almost started.
Your videos are not so about memes, but about lore, and characters, and everybody's attitude to Arcane's chaos. It's what makes watching them enjoyable
Gentlemen,I would like to start a discussion about why ekko and powder should be a slice of life series.
0:39 not a meme, but a tribute
Yeah, I felt really horrible and emotional when he was killed, not being able to see his kid grow up, but died fighting for it to happen

Viktor and Jayce: hold hands while they face imminent death together, as a sign of their unbreakable brotherly bond

This second season was full of plot twists…too much plot twists. The ending was everything but perfect or joyful but neither bad or tragic…frankly I really don’t know how to define it! Only the videogame Metal Gear Solid 2 before this left me a strange sensation of emptiness…
Honestly it was pretty much all predictable... In a good way. If you caught all the hints it's a fairy predictable show but it's good regardless. That's how it should be.
It's just that in the last few episodes you get complete whiplash from all the emotions and not enough time to deal with them.
@@mojolotz even if it’s a masterpiece or even a rollercoaster of emotions there’s only a single but major fault in all of this…”Not quite my tempo”. The timeskip between the events seemed too rushed

the single one L and problem i have with arcane is that we NEVER got the true final warwick
so my hope is they legit show us in time he is still around was found by singed
and restored for further experimentation
or he healed himself back after the explosion, but fleshy and full wolf
that would honestly be rly welcome and much needed
cuz tbh
trailer warwick was godlike in how cool he was
we still need that
everything else in arcane was AMAZING
@@luckluca8982
In his lore it’s stated Warwick only turned full wolflike after dying in a half-wolf form. So the ending is how he BECAME the true Warwick.
Arcane secret ending, Caitlyn meets Orianna
Cait: “I’m here to talk about the League of Legend initiative”
Singed just stumbling around with main character energy.
5:51 fuck... well he still has the firelights to lead and leader of a whole community. So i don't think its that sad.
The only thing that saddens me about Maddie's death is that the bullet came so fast that she couldn't process fear. She died thinking she had hit Caitlyn, which makes me a little angry xD
they are supposed to be meme, but some of them made me legit sad, glorius cinema
2:27 thats exactly what i thought😂
"Does anyone like men"
*shows Jayce*
Meanwhile, that moment during the party and the way Claggor was looking at Milo 🎉😂
6:52 IS THIS WHY THIS TIMELINE WORKED? CUZ VICTOR FINALLY GAVE THE RIGHT RUNE?
that's what I'm thinking as well. In this timeline Victor gave the rune which would allow Ekko and Heimerdinger to figure out time travel. Of course it's also possible that given that hextech research looked at discovering lots of runes this might not have mattered.
Short answer: yes
Long answer: we see him try to give Jayce different runes at every cycle, and this is the only timeline in which Hextech exists and Jayce successfully stops Viktor.
So much of this show could be turned into an amazing poster
Man I wish we had Urgot in the show
dont use a shot like that for the tumbmail. Some peapole havent seen the last episodes yet and this is a Huge spoiler
Singed survives because every LoL player knows: Do. Not. Chase. Singed.

I need not cry more. Why did you do that to me at the end
They did not. That was a joke that turned into a rumor. They originally planned 2 seasons
ur coping so hard bro
@@izeeclem1661 My point still stands
@@raphaelregnault6914no it doesnt. Many things were rushed and unsatisfying
what's kinda disappointing about warwick is that... well... we really didn't see warwick in arcane. we saw vander turning into a monster that has some of warwick demeanor and abilities, and then we saw that monster turned into a slave soldier. the whole early mutated vanders up to jayce ruining everything is an amazing buildup for warwick, everything about him after this point is simply a let down.
not a shred of warwick's personality was shown. vanders could have been turned into dr mundo just as well and the only difference would have been the choreography of his fights. warwick in lore is a punisher kind of anti-hero, he mercilessly hunt and kill criminals without much regard for other things. he's not a mindless beast, but more a sentient creature that is both savage and bloodthirsty.
now i understand the real warwick didn't really fit in the story they were trying to tell, especially since he only works when zaun is a dangerous place riddled with crime and they were going towards that zaun allying with piltover against a common enemy. so maybe he'll come up in some later stories. warwick recovering from that kind of blast would really not be so surprising, especially when in his initial lore, dying was the catalyst that enabled his final transformation.
what we missed is a character that would drop that sort of line:
"the chains are broken the beast is free"
"blood runs... they all run"
"can't save you all... don't want to"
"all the blood you spilled brought me here"
"not even your screams will escape"
about caitlyn: "so deep in piltover's pocket i can only see your hat"
about vi: "who taught you how to punch?"
in comparison, i was jumping on my chair at every little hint towards orianna and nothing about it was ever disappointing.
1:16 Yippie! I made that meme :3
I honestly thought Jinx was gonna still mourn yet eventually find self-growth after Isha's death instead of almost instantly burning down The Last Drop and wanting to blow herself up and in the ending leave everyone who believes she's already dead behind in Piltover and Zaun on that airship.
We went from people trying to better the city and find peace. To a god like threat that can take over the mind of hundreds of people simultaneously
5:35 I noticed in the Powder timeline she has rails, while in the normal timeline she doesn't because she doesn't care about danger

I would just like the next League series to be a Sitcom about Ekko and Powder in the alternate universe, just chilling
Honestly, I only have 2 complaints of Season 2
1) I did not like the pace.
We didn't even need to see a kiss to know that Jayce and Viktor were the GAYEST couple in this whole series. Yes, even more than Vi and Cait.
where is the meme part in Ekko-Junx ep? It was a masterpiece wdym xD
