My opinion is all these characters are amazingly written and none deserve hate. People don't behave and react the same way in situations every time, and the same is done with these characters. They have so much complex motivations and justifications with their actions and reactions. Even Mel shows depth, understanding, empathy, curiosity, and compassion instead of being the cookie-cutter Ambitious Politician, and she was like that the WHOLE time. We just get more of a sense once we meet her mother. Same with Jayce, Same with Jinx/Powder, same with Vi, All of them!
One think I absolutely adore is how they managed to take silco, this evil, power hungry character and manages to turn him into a likeable characters, *witchout* making him a good person, he still carries out these evil acts, he still gets people addicted to shimmer, but we also see the love he has for jinx, how he cares for her and trusts her. I just think the writing of this show is so incredible

In a fight between Jinx and Caitlyn, Jinx could have the advantage because she has more weapons but Caitlyn could have the advantage because she's more precise. In the final episode Cait could've shot Jinx but Vi had talked her out of it resulting in Jinx to knock her out, but had Vi just shut up Jinx would've had more holes in her than a cheese grater.
Hard to say exactly. In terms of sharpshooting I'd put my money on Caitlyn, but Jinx had some sort of shimmer induced super speed that allowed her to dodge out of the way and close the gap before Caitlyn could shoot. Since that's really the only action we see of her post treatment it's hard to say just how fast she'd be in a real fight though.

Both are girls who have killed their father figures/have a father figure who isn’t doing much to actually help them, use guns, have high body counts, went from point A to point B a little too fast, and are just generally deadly messes. The only differences are that the other character became a dictator and ended the world. Definitely weird.
