that part at the end with the pulsing glowing sacred geometry and crisp bass line is just sublime. it's one of those things I wish I could share with other people.. but it's too niche lol there's no easy way to even show it to people because you really need a good sound setup or headphones because the way the twitching and pulsing of the symbols synch perfectly with the bass is part of what makes it so great. I tried showing it to people on my ipad but it just doesn't do it justice
I thought twenty, thirty years ago Electronic Dance Music would become the dominant music genre of the Twenty-First Century. I guess currently it has fallen in line with Classical and Jazz Musics.
For those of you who are curious or just confused, this specific genre of electronic music is known as IDM. (Which stands for Intelligent Dance Music.) Both Aphex Twin & Squarepusher created this genre (in the very late 80s to the early 90s) as a means to push against what was popular in the electronic dance scene at the time. Honestly my favorite tracks that Richard has made over the years are Windowlicker, 4, Donkey Rhubarb, Come To Daddy, IZ-US, On, Omyga Switch-7, Avril 14th, (Any of the tracks on the Richard D. James album), and so many more. Long story short, big fan of this guy. Aphex Twin is an absolute genius that's defined what it means to make electronic music.
Yo that was some heavy hitting electronica....kind of like an electronic version of Emerson Lake and Palmer....so cool to find a fellow electronica enthusiast on here...peace

Bro is flabergasted from start to end, love it
your facial expressions were the perfect reaction this track😄
I heard it the same way; a tour of sorts through the aphex dimension. Lots to texture to grab on to while nosediving into wormholes
This is the magnus opus for what I know of this man, Richard David James!
2:26 … subbed. Liked & immediately subbed 😂
"I like when artist try to do something different" ---LOL
