Hi Emily, I would be moving to Iowa next year i.e. 2025 Q3 not from another state but from a completely different continent, Middle East, Saudi. But I’ve been to US a lot of times before, studied at Arizona, and worked with so many Americans. I was wondering what type of trade jobs are most in demand in Iowa. I will be moving to Iowa as a Nurse aide for Genesis Health in Davenport while I slowly study to pass the NCLEX. But also thinking to do landscaping, pressure washing, cleaning and ice removing as one man show and sometimes hiring part timers depending on the job. Will grow this as a business with time. Please let me know what would be your opinion on my idea of these hustles - will be able to do these 3 to 4 days a week as I will be working 3 days as a nurse aide. Also any heads up regarding high in demand trade jobs, I know basics of plumbing work but yeah plumbing is totally different in the US. Would be happy to learn new trade skills before I come that are high in demand. Also I am a great salesperson, been doing a lot of recruitment operations plus worked 7 years as a procurement professional for top tier multinational firms within construction, tech and facilities management. Happy December, Cornelius
