I feel like D2 is the most competitive non-competitive game ever. We have non-scrim cheese trials, like what more can you ask for in a T rated game lol.
d2 has an extremely competitive playerbase, which they actively discourage

Maybe bungie should come up with non-cheese mode trials scrim type for all players to try and have a different title as the highest pvp seal for skills alone. If they were experimenting on different matchmakings for balancing the matchmaking, maybe this will clean out all the troubles since it will clearly show the true pvp mode needed in crucible. Locked in loadouts, less ability cooldowns and no OP weapons mainly HCs, shotguns, snipers, sidearms, smgs or even maybe no exotic weapons or armor?

@@davidcooper7217 You've complained too much about abilities and cheese stuff anything under the sun for so long and now even looking for this as another boring pvp mode. Get a grip of your wishlists, it's never gonna happen. The balance is basic weapons without LoWs laser beaming people without much effort. You can keep your current chesse stuff running as my suggestion is for a different mode for trials. The only reason people want a faster round system is because not mostly of skills but of their ability strats and loadouts. It's all about skills or teamwork making it a true competitive trials game.

Go into trials (solo), the team leaves immediately, no one joins, 1v3, leave the match and get banned. Join trials, the team jumps into bullets within .3s, 1v3, and get stomped. Get terrible KD, can't find people to play with. Watch youtube, get excited to play, "maybe it won't be like that again." Go into trials, get shot through walls, 1v3, rinse and repeat. 4+ hours of life well spent.

So its about staying back until the flag forces teams to actually have gunfights...thats insane if it wasn't for the flag people would just stay far back not doing anything putting Shields for no reason and be invisible...
its literally not the lack of a flag, or the presence of one. You can still put up a shield on the flag which is even more annoying and stupid. The fact that those abilities are in the game is the problem. Destiny and bungies design philosophy is flawed at its core.

anyone who tells you destiny 2 is competitive and takes skill, will be laughed at because of how crap meta has been, ability spam, op exotics, poor hit detection, poor p2p servers, terrible maps, heavy and zone locations, 3 stacks abusing matchmaking.
Pvp for destiny has been going downhill since the sidearm meta in Destiny 1. Don't get me wrong love the destiny 2 movements, feels good and PvE improved but how bad PVP is and stacks/ sweats are the reasoning why failing right now because Bungie catering to them more.
Note: no need to send get good messages because I can hold my own 1.50 k/d with 120 flawless in d2 and destiny 1 with over 300.
