New listener to the podcast here,
Sweet setup! Love the broadhead sight hack on those 3 blades!
Looking forward to more Trad Labs episodes with Cody. Very interesting observations in those studies!
Cheers from Canada
i love that safety harness
Great video. Nice set up. Please do the treestand video. Would love to see the climbing setup in action!
Looks like a great setup!
Love your videos!🔥
Need to show that treestand setup in action buddy
I think I need to simplify my clothing!
No first aid kit Matt? Nice gear set up
Are you running the Das, or Ilf plates? Im about to buy this riser as an intro to trad/hunting setup, but I cant decide which limb connection setup to go with. Thank You in advance!
I really appreciate all you do!
Why did you go away from the WF19 riser?
What length limbs are you using with this setup Matt?
Nice. But what about the T-Shirt you are wearing? Where did you get that? 🌞
Nice setup but where can I get that tee shirt?
Hello, where did you find your blue razor sharp edge please ?
All good stuff. Thanks for sharing. Only thing I don’t get is the low attach point harnesses these days. They are comfortable, but if you actually fall, torso is heavier. End up upside down with harness pulling down your thighs. Am I missing something here?
the belt is at your belly button/above the iliac crest if you are running them correctly, so you cant slide out even if you whip upside down. all climbing harnesses for much larger falls have been this way for decades and you have the benefit of facing the surface you fell from versus a back mounted attachment. whatever you feel makes you more comfortable is probably the realist answer but i switched back to a climbing style harness for most hunts and will even jumar ropes to height. you can fall shoulders first but its much easier to get back to a recoverable position over a back attachment.
How long did it take to narrow down what length arrows etc was required to use the tips for reference
I just tried to keep the arrows full length. I adjusted my crawl on the string to give me the sight picture i wanted
Good shooting what brace height are you running. Thank you. Darren Pa hunter and any outer state I can lol
7.5 i think
What elevated rest do you have on your bow?
That is an Accutune we sell, with a springy rest
What tip weight are you running on your arrows?
250 gn heads
What length limbs are you using on your set-up?
Longs. 66” bow
Cotton.....never, wool is king 🤴. Always
