    This bow looks just like my longbow, custom made $600.00 in 1986, mine is 56#. and I would rather have a 35# since my injury, so I'm going to order this bow in just a few minutes.

    Back in the day, respectable arrow speed rule of thumb calculator was: draw # + 100 fps So, 60# bow=160fps. A 35# longbow capable of close to 170fps is Terrific.

    Spoke to Sanlida and they will have a left-handed version out by years end which might be interesting for thumb and Slavic shooters .It might take a few minutes to sand the handle a little to take the edge down to make it comfortable for the left hand to hold the grip instead of the right ..

    That's a seriously impressive package for 150 dollars. Well done Sanlida!

    I'd love for you to release some 3 finger archery tutorials as well! I love your style of teaching from the thumb draw videos. Big fan of your channel 🙌🏼

    Definitely an impressive offer. 150 for all that comes with it, is very nice and easily attractive. The bow and arrows don't look overly cheap, so when comparing to another combo package, can't think of many that can beat what it offers by the look of it.
    Great review as always

    This look like a great bow as well. It looked so smooth! Thx for the review. I got the Osprey Hunting Recurve (short 58 incher) and the Dragon X8. Both amazing bows and equally amazing prices like this one. I see a great future for this bow company.

    Just starting out with longbow…..(I actually shoot target compound with a Hoyt Invicta ) but I tried clout very recently with a club bow and love it…..this looks perfect for that and some fun 3D too……I don’t want to spend expensive for what I want to do and this looks perfect! Excellent review….thank you 🤙

    Looks exactly the same as my old Bucktrail Blackhawk (the newer Blackhawks have a different grip profile) If that's the case, hand shock with anything less than 10gpp will be insane. Apart from the terrible hand shock, with string silencers and 10gpp arrows it is SILENT. Very accurate too. I've had it for 10 years and it's been fine. Quite slow, however. I've got a custom fast flight string on the way to see if I can improve it. The standard string is now 10 years old and showing no real signs of wear (waxed regularly).

    I sometimes like to shoot American-style 20th-century longbows like this (when i visit with friends who have them).
    I always simply shoot them left-handed, Slavic release, so that I can use the left side of the cutout and expanding release/khatra. It works great and feels natural

    • @suunraze
      @suunraze Рік тому

      My father-in-law even built me a nice longbow in similar style, with a cutout like that. I shoot it left-handed; it works great for me but drives him crazy

    I picked one of these up on Amazon just after you reviewed it. I must say it's a nice bow but the hand shock is just unreal. I have a 31" draw and I never had a bow that was this long stack so hard at 29". I think this bow is better suited for beginners.

    • @worldtraveler8372
      @worldtraveler8372 5 місяців тому

      I thought it was me. It does stack hard at 29" which has me anchoring at front of my chin.

    I wish this came in a left handed version. It's a perfect package of a ton of things I want - even the cheaper arrows and armguard would be welcome for giving my non-archer friends some gear to use that I won't care about them breaking, for when they want to try out archery when visiting. But I shoot with my left hand, and it only comes right handed. I hope a left handed version becomes available soon - I'd pick it up right away.

    Sanlida is a good olympic bow factory (sanlida, kinetic), most for beginners and intermediate archers
    when i owned a Falco Legend (same category) the efficient weight was 8,5 gpp to 10gpp
    so, i think 10 gpp with 100 gr tips (spine 700) is ready for 35#

    If they are marketing to the North American bow hunting community--the heavy arrows might be appropriate. Love the accuracy.
