- Huawei announced that, more than 60 million people have installed HarmonyOS 4 in Huawei smartphones and tablets which is truly insane like the popularity of the harmonyos is getting bigger and bigger every single day,
Huawei has also decided to takes its own grown harmony operating system to yet another level, by releasing the native version of the harmony that is, harmony os next, ealy next year , what this means is that Huawei plans to release a pure version of the Harmony operating system that doesn’t include Android libraries. If things goes according to plan, what is gonna be happening is that the current exiting harmony os which is more compatible with android apps is going to be replaced by the clean and pure version of Huawei’s Harmony operating system which in short means that it will no longer support android apps

yo me compre un HUAWEI P60 PRO pero viene bloqueado con EMUI 13.1 yo solo queria tener harmony os y no puedo ni si quiera instalarlo porque la unica forma es hacer rebrand y pagarle a alguien para que me instale harmony OS se me cayo huawei en ese aspecto

So in my view, if Huawei finally decides to release harmony oS for global users it will surely be base on compatibility issues, that is if your current phone is compatible with the software you should be legible,
@@solverTechink In my opinion, definitely it'll not be compatible to the existing devices especially if Huawei cannot gain elany cents to it. But in China (ROM) its rolling out because it's their main territory for market and if I am not mistaken China owns a third of global smartphone users. So surely, this new OS that they're boasting that is natively their own will run on the latest gadgets and not on the old smartphones. But I am positive with their new OS cause China is good at business. And most of the internet technology are run by Huawei even in the west.

OpenHarmony is open source. HarmonyOS NEXT with Microkernel is closed but OpenHarmony based
Bad move not to be android compatible, they should make the non compatible move with riscv chips oncoming.
Currently people using EMUI 12 and above with no google services can access google services through GSPACE platform, So if this Harmony oS Next supports GSPACE then I think it could be possible. Let see how things goes when they finally release it.
you can access almost all google services via a browser so who cares. Not to mention huawei's store appGallery has lots of app added every single day, ready to be converted to Harmony own executable
No Android runtime is an option and temporary. All developers move to HarmonyOS NEXT
@@benjaminakhigbe9319 Atleast in China where they have the customers and sell increased alot. Sweden havent sold Huawei since P40 pro so developers dont fix apps to App gallery longer. Customers want app support and they couldnt get there apps so they moved to another phone or tablet. With no support of Aosp or apk longer you can not even download apps from Aurora Store anymore only dedicated apps are possible

Per my research on Harmony oS Next, this new ecosystem will not support Android libraries, which therefore means that it will not be compatible with android apps

When Harmony OS goes global, Huawei should offer a android bridge for developers to get familiar with the programming of this new system. Don't forget China developers had few years headstart then the rest of the world.

Do you know Huawei add an android thing in their os before because they kind you should be grateful they still do that even the rest of what they add to make the android apps work don't even work it's just placebo effect now harmony os next can't really access it if you just don't update you can't still use it

Harmony Os next that arent released yet and not even open beta are available in China yet. Will have there own kernel build on Hmos and will only support dedicated apps. The new Os will not support apk or Aosp longer only dedicated apps. Huawei goal are 10 000 Chinese apps Q4 and available in China only. So you can only use Appgallery because of no support of apk you cant use Aurora Store so forget Micro G together with this for this will not work. Cant see this go global or can you be happy with 10 000 Chinese apps only available. Sure Emui will be there choice globaly

Microsoft tried to do the same and guess what? It failed. Android is the most user friendly OS and it can run on multiple phone. IOS is there since 2007. The very first launch of smartphone by Apple. Plus Harmony OS is literally similar to IOS. Why you think that people will move towards Harmony which is similar to IOS which iPhone can give on a much smoother plus secure system? And yes, before you tell about the bad quality phone, it is marketing scheme of Apple where they said that it will be easy to replace back glass. And for the temp issue, they will bring update for that prob this year or next year latest.@@fatdoi003
