They come in handy for sure but be careful they can damage also a small sharpened piece of wood for extracting them is good too

Please someone answer a few questions i have
1. Can a metal detector also detect diamonds and other gem stones under ground.
2. Can it detect under a huge stone.
3. How deep and how long (long as in sq meters from the target ) can it properly search.
4. Which is the best and cheapest detector which is good to find both gems amd metals. (please share the link)
