    you had to rise whole wheel hub up to it's alignment position like it would stand on the ground and then tight nuts and bolts for the ball joint. can't do like that mate :D could use some pole or timber under ball joint and lower a car a bit.

      downgraded back to rubber, all suspension fucked up

      Poly bushes good for the track but on roads with speed bumps and potholes it will mess up the suspension long term.

    The rear bush is damaged. The suspension arm is not allowed to moved in the rear bush/ Mate! And the bolts need to be tight with the suspension arm in level stand still not in that position!

    Вместо масла мыло используют. Использовать необходимо динамометрический ключ в конце. Я бы такому механику не оставил машину.👎

    How many bushes to change all?

      To be honest you have to Replace two on the front WISHBONE Aside.
      That's 4 for the front and when you are at it Replace the ball joints too.
      I would recommend to keep original Wishbones and just Replace the bushes because aftermarket Wisbones sometimes needs wheel alignment/tracking. Unless wishbones are completely unusable. Thanks for watching really appreciate

  • @martinwhitley9893
    @martinwhitley9893 4 місяці тому

    It’s alright removing the lower wishbones like this ,but when you refit them to the car the full weight of the car should be on the ground then tighten the bolts the other thing is when fitting new bushes don’t use engine oil because oil and rubber don’t mix after a while the rubber will start to breakdown so watching this video is an absolute waste of time unless you want to learn how not to do the job properly

    I snapped front wishbone bolt 😏

    • @TEAMR4ULTV
      @TEAMR4ULTV  2 роки тому

      Oh no, not good did you have to Replace the sub frame or drill it out.

    • @stop116
      @stop116 2 роки тому +1

      @@TEAMR4ULTV didn't saw your question, but took the car to garage and they drilled out... Installed poly bushes in wishbone and ARB, not long aftet started to hear clunking noise... And now new KYB coils, shocks and mounts + MEYLE HD ARB drop links, MEYLE wishbone bushes(replaced poly back to stock).. last night everything was fine, but this morning BOOM, clunks AF... Sound comes from the side where the bolt was snapped... Thinking now, is it ARB - as I had to open bracket to replace bushes on Passat B7 or it's the wishbone, as there's now different bolt, not VW and I think they tapped new thread in subframe, 1.75 instead of 1.5 and now I can't even install original bolt... What's the importance of the bolt? does it needs to be at specific torque to squeeze the bushing into subframe or just to make sure bolt don't come out?

    • @TEAMR4ULTV
      @TEAMR4ULTV  2 роки тому

      @@stop116 hi mate sorry your having a nightmare with this. Obviously it's that bolt causing the issue. To be honest I never torque it up anyway. Just make sure that it's tight. Other than that I think you might need a new sub frame. sorry

    • @stop116
      @stop116 2 роки тому +1

      @@TEAMR4ULTV I can update: after hard decision to lay down on the wet ground to move the suspension up with the feet and listen where the sound coming from I noticed it comes from the drop link. Thought no way it's gone having 4 year warranty.. put the hand on and moved car up and down again, finally felt that the F**** Tw*** in garage forgot to properly tighten it up when they was changing the shocks..
      Now after tightening it up and squeeze the water out of my clothes went for a test drive and of course everything now is perfect.. nice and quiet...
