I would say personally, Chopin’s Ballade no. 1 in G minor! The coda is both technically and emotionally difficult yet a epic sounding ending, but the 3rd concerto also has quite a banger ending as well!
Tchaikovsky - Francesca da rimmi, check it out if you don’t know it, if you just want the intense end listen two minutes before the end or so in Ashkenazy’s version it’s great. But I love me some rach
Many of the Rachmaninoff Orchestral works and Concerti end with the same four botes. There is nothing most epic about this. The notes themselves effectively musically phonate the composer’s last name.
I have to give it to Chopins ballad no.1 sitting there for 10 minutes listening to all the parts especially the coda leaves you feeling incomplete and wanting more
@@Dylonely_9274 well if you would compare the whole symphonic works of both the composers, then there could be a debate but if we are talking about endings and one of them is shoshtokovich there is no point of debate, sorry my friend, I have personal bias for Shostakovich.
@@Dylonely_9274 i have heard them, but mahler is not for me, i like music which tells a story, which is connected with human soul, suffering, shoshtokovich is all that for me. Glad people still listen to classical music, and we are having a conversation on mahler and shoshtokovich which is thousand times better than discussing trash music of today.
His vibe ahhh🥹
I love Yunchan Lim!!!!!!!
Yunchan Lim is a phenom.

We can blame the altitude of Vail 😃
I imagined a pretty lady walking on high heels and then the heel broke.
i’m a musician but i didn’t hear anything wrong with it
@@aquafine.2250it’s not the last note but almost toward the end of the piece.
The trumpet😂

Been there done that

Bruckner's 4th and 8th get my votes. Honorable mention to the Tchaikovsky concertos, and--really--shouldn't Beethoven's 9th be in the conversation?
Yap !
That's Him ! Yoon chan 😊

Is epic always powerful? The eerie ending of Shostakovich Symphony number 4 is unforgettable.
我覺得平常看到的風景並沒這麼簡單,若要用音樂描寫,會是非常複雜的!
3 ftw

why he perform always in the US :(
I read on Wikipedia that he is studying at NEC now, which is in Boston
And pity he doesn't have a website too :( I am a big fan if him
He won the gold medal at the Cliburn competition.. They make winners tour in the US for 3 years.
Ravel - La Valse. 5 weird notes to end it all.
its very epic. BUT, the cuda in ballade no1 is epicer
Unlucky the trumpet section kinda missed the last note but all the whole epic performance
Pini di rome, Otorino respighi
Rachmaninoff 3rd piano concerto?
When was this performance?? Anyone?
July 26, 2023
I claime that this music by Rachmaninoff
The most epic ending is Mahler 2nd...
Hes an alien
Shoshtokovich 11th symphony ending can never be toped
Mahler need to talk with you.
@@Dylonely_9274 no mahler can top the greatness of soviet genius of shoshtokovich
@@mayankprajapat4591 Yes he can with his finales.
