Wow this is a trip of a lifetime for sure. You did a great job with the narration and taking us on this trip with you from the start traveling and transporting your bikes to the entire trip. The information along the way about the canals was great loved those canals and the falls were really beautiful views. Man missing out on a Tavern is just wrong! This really is a great journey cant wait to see the next part!

Yes it was an amazing journey. It could not have been more fun. The five of us really had the best experience. We are already discussing several options for next year and have two more freinds that want to join us. The next time I’m in the area, I’ll visit the Tavern. Thanks for watching and take care Ramblers.

Epic journey, John! Can't wait for the rest! There's something about traveling in September that has always appealed to me. I think that this series will get you pasted the 1000 mark 🤞🤞🤞

    Hi John.
Thanks for the nice and informative video.
Look forward to the remaining videos of this trip.
I've hiked a short stretch from Harper's Ferry on the AT for 2.6 miles to where the trail heads up to Weaverton Cliffs.
    God Bless!

Ken, I was watching the white blazes on that section thinking of the day when I'll be halfway done with the AT. Hope all is well. Take care.

Fun adventure. Cool to follow that canal along and see the history alongside. Nine days! That's a lot of riding.

It felt like a section ride. I could see more of these in my future, but this weekend it’s backpacking.

That's awesome that the train was on time. I would have never thought about how you can't bring certain items like stove fuel on the train. That's great they had an REI nearby. I loved seeing all the historic buildings along the canal and great falls is such a beautiful spot. I have been there too. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your ride.

Yes I honestly didn’t think the small canisters would be an issue for Amtrak, but my friend, Mike did the research and found out they were not allowed.
I think this has to be the best way to visit national parks. We rode around on our bikes in Harpers Ferry and Antietam as well. Thanks for tuning in Sarah!

I'm glad you got to ride this great trail all away. Great first day video overview. It's a beautiful section of the trail around Great Falls. Looking forward to the second day. It's interesting to see this trail with someone else's eyes since I've done it myself and I'm sure I'm gonna ride it again next year. Enjoy your ride, great video.

Thomas, I’m hooked! This was a fantastic journey and I’m going to do more in the future. I’m taking note of the trips you have done like the D&L, Erie Canal, Ohio to Erie as well.

We completed DC to Cumberland 2 weeks ago. Some pretty rough trails and bugs eating us lol!! Overall, we had a great time.

@@yolandawebster68I’m curious what did you think was rough about the trail. It was dry and dusty when I rode it.
