USA here ,what your royalty does is showcase the work of others. It brings attention to charities and work that would be overlooked. You also honor people for their volunteers and service. What other countries show cases the work of the people like you do.
I feel the British RF are in a 24/7 fishbowl. Yes, they need to be accountable as a responsibility to the public funds they get annually. However, like every job that every normal person has, things happen that are personal and should be off limits to everyone.
