I was there that night. Unfortunately from where we were seated we couldn’t see him - so I’m happy to see the recordings from that performance. Thank you!
@@GregM-ws4hq well that explains it. We were wondering why other performers that night had close up shots of their performances and with Bob (the real reason I was there) the shots were distant and dark. Knowing it’s a “Bob thing” makes total sense now.
@ Yes. I saw him over the summer and there were no closeups. He does not allow it. Silly ... but pure Dylan. I guess he doesn't like the way he looks anymore but he is the ONLY singer. So what can ticket holders do.
Quality!❤ So engaging & amazing yo watch modern-Dylan so closely. INCREDIBLE job with the recording, so dark yet you have really brought the details out so clearly! 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love Bob so much cos he's just so original and authentic This is great Mr Woolhall the picture so clear so thank you once again for making my day ❤❤❤ xxx
Oh My Dear Brother, I was playing along with my 12String to "Visions of Johanna" as your latest offering showed up on my feed.... You've made an Old Cowboys Day. Many Thanks Woolhall. Greetings From The Great State of Texas. On The Gulf~
@@woolhall Something has been bothering me. I'd appreciate your thoughts please. The Blonde on Blonde album '66. As I listen to Visions of Johanna, I hear a very similar lead guitar, to Van Morrison's Bang Masters Album. What say you? I know you're the one to ask..😊
That voice. ❤️When did Bob switch from guitar to piano And why? I know it’s been awhile, but I miss the guitar. I saw him at Bethel Woods last July, or rather I heard him. I was on the lawn and the camera never did a close up. I didnt know one single song he did,LoL because at that time I only knew the popular tunes and being a rock fan, I was bored to tears,LoL. But also thrilled because it was BOB DYLAN! Now that I’ve done a deep dive into his music ,I’m looking foward to seeing him again. Thank God he loves touring!
Part of what makes him a genius, -huge powers of mind. Turning feelings and observations into structured, articulated wordage, -and remembering them in performance. Gotta love Dylan.
It';s way beyond that. He said he keeps in mind every performance of a particular song so on any given night the same song will not be 100% the same..some nights 99% b ut never 100%. He remembers....
Bobby must name workin tha road is home for him?! How many days in a year he is on the road/touring??? Unbelievieble! I think he don't do it for the bucks, but he could be the hardest workin man in the business! Amazing!
Yeah people will praise and watch Bob no matter how he sounds . He certainly looks like his age has caught up with him and in my opinion that outfit kind of makes him look like a grandmother.Getting old is a rough trip even for Bob.
@@jaceconverse6337 Totally agree. He won't sing any of his hits. I know age is a factor ... but he never cares what people think. But no one can deny his incredible talent for song writing.
He opened this entire tour with Watchtower... every set had Desolation Row & closed with every grain of sand. Three of his biggest songs. @@GregM-ws4hq
@ He does sprinkle some hits. But he leaves a ton out. I realize he has a lot of great songs ... but he only adds a few. No guitar. No closeups allowed. No backups singers. Imagine if he would open up to input and put together a show that included more of the dozens of songs people love. Don't get me wrong ... I love Bob. Just wish he allowed input.
He looks like an old lady fresh out of the beauty parlor...the black is to harsh for an aged face. Salt and pepper would be better on him@@GreatWhiteWonder
I love and admire Bob’s songwriting talent in his earlier work, but I can’t commend this performance - sorry. Even if he personally invited me to join him on stage now, I’d have to politely decline. It felt unintelligible, monotonous, and difficult to sit through. After his show in Boston, I genuinely wished I could get my money back.
Great to hear the old song and dance man singing and playing piano.
All the members of The Band are gone, but it's amazing that Bob Dylan is still alive.
You're an amazing man Bob! We are blessed to be alive at the same time as you!
Love hearing Bob's Voice morning, noon, and night!!! Love ❤️ this song!!! He is fabulous on the keyboard 😍 ❤️ ♥️ 🎉❤
Oh, Bob is so cool, with that peculiar hair and crossing rubicon day by day... Thanks, my friend Woolhall for this gifty.💖💖🌻🌻✨✨🎶🎶

How does Bob remember all his lyrics, it is beyond me.
He's special
He's reading them.
He has them printed in a folder right in front of him on the piano. Plus he performs them every night. It's not rocket science.

Crossin the Rubicon classic blues riff
Bob is THE guy. It scares me to imagine who might fill those shoes.
Damn! So few have this view of him and he's so unselfconscious, here.
He still got it
At 84 why does he do it?
Ask the Chief Commander.

Sorry , bailing out at 2.41, I can't understand a feckin word !
Because it's Dylan, we accept the vocal. If this song was sung by Herman Baxter-Moorehead it would get 22 hits tops and zero shares.
