god i love this guy, i've loved him since Macbeth and shameless, but then last king of scotland came around...he is super talented, ultimately superhot! he makes a perfect professor x! the film was bloody awesome fassbender and mcavoy where brilliant!
Truth be told they do show or hint at Prof. X losing his hair. SPOILERS!!! In the movie it kinda shows it's because of Cerebro. After he uses it the first time in the film we notice that his hair starts to go grey a little. So after using it so many times you can kind of figure that's how. Awsome movie! I loved it and James McAvoy is such an amazing actor and I really love his work.
professor x losing the ability to walk is not a spoiler. it's hardly a secret that the character is in a wheelchair, it's in all the other films and in every x men comic.
Oh, I know. I had to read stuff on the British Empire from different sources a while ago. All I meant by the accent thing was that people always call an English accent a British one, despite the fact that there are so many different types of both accent. And I know what the Scottish, Irish and Welsh like to think of themselves within Britain, I'm Scottish.
@Hudson2012 Nope, he was supposed to be British, and he did a British accent. Surprisingly, though, it wasn't the greatest I've heard from him... there are moments when he slips, but in the other films I've seen him in, he is amazingly consistent with both British and American accents.
@JuuhachigouSama If you check the marvel universe wiki page, the second paragraph states that he lost his hair due to his form of mutation. Of course, I never read the comics, so I can't really say for sure if that's what's actually in the comics. But this wiki page seems to be a fairly good source for all marvel related information. The film did imply that cerebro would work better if he shaved his head. But that might've been a side joke.
@nickj1706 The Wolverine movie is no longer canon. It has been ignored by this film. And even if it wasn't, in the animated series Wolverine & the X-Men, Xavier walked, while disabled, using technology.
I never said they were the same, I said that a Scottish accent is a British accent, which is not the same thing. The fact that you do not understand this only shows that you have a rather large misconception of what a British accent actually is.
@deinpare While Wales and Scotland are part of Britain, they have their own unique culture and accents. There is a common misconception in America that the English accent is a 'British' accent. The three accents are all conpletely different.
@Shakiro999 I agree I just watched the movie two hours ago..and his loss of walk ability..is a major spoiler! Great movie just as good as any of the other x-fmen. Cant wait for the 2nd. Did not like that ANGEL Mutant though..she like tinkerbell with a fireball cough. Where is gambit?? or the guy that plays cards?
hehe anyone noticed how professor X cannot walk and he's always in a wheel chair n stuff but then at the end of wolverine he comes out of the helicopter walking? haha!!!
@midnightpanda Nonono. I believe he has to shave his head in order to use the new and improved Cerebro that he and Erik eventually build together. Buuuuuut, I could be wrong. ;)
Um ya , there are certain places in Scotland where ya wouldn`t wanna say that too loudly . The Scots , Welsh and Irish tend to prefer to think of themselves as sovereign nations that just happen to be in the British Isles and some are willing to bomb Parliament ( the governing body of British law and defenders of the monarchy and noble class ) to prove it ! If you look up how Scotland , Wales and Northern Ireland first became part of the British Empire , the anger`s totally understandable !
"I worked with two ninjas" lol James you never fail to make me chuckle
god i love this guy, i've loved him since Macbeth and shameless, but then last king of scotland came around...he is super talented, ultimately superhot! he makes a perfect professor x! the film was bloody awesome fassbender and mcavoy where brilliant!
I am very happy with James as Professor X, he did very very well!
*stares at James*
Eric: "Perfection"

I love his accent
@bigjokk I loved that! "Get out of my bloody frame!"
i think one guy was blinded by his awesome accent and awesome looks that they accidentally pressed the dislike button :)
Saw James in X-Men and he was definitely hot. The more i see him the more in love i am with him! Gorgeous man and an amazing actor :)
This Adrian Hyatt(?) is a really good interviewer.
James could play a tree and still be hot as HELL.
He can play anything and be attractive.
Here mr Mcavoy beginning dedrophilia. You said it first.
The wedding ring is so shiny it's too distracting. And he keeps flashing it RIGHT IN MY FACE! Hahahaha...
Truth be told they do show or hint at Prof. X losing his hair. SPOILERS!!!

he is a great actor
"I trained with two ninjas" BWAHAHAHAHA
I like him shirtless especially in Wanted!
@Flario93 It's both a prequel and a reboot rather than simply a prequel.
I swear to God i was wearing pants two seconds ago.
lol i had no idea he was scottish. i love him, but i like his british accent more.
@RandomShinigami7 Yeah he was amazing in it, I'm watching this movie again no less than 4 times.
@RandomShinigami7 you need to watch more of his films. he gets totally rid of the accent when acting. He's amazing
professor x losing the ability to walk is not a spoiler. it's hardly a secret that the character is in a wheelchair, it's in all the other films and in every x men comic.
he is the sexiest man on the planet without being cute,, a mean he oviously isnt brad pit but is way hotter
butbutbut... I love his hair
@Flario93 in this "new version" havok is not supposed to be cyclops' brother, but related to him in some other way.
0:19 MOVE!
So is there going to be a prequel sequel? lol
@midnightpanda Oh, yup. You're right. He lost it when he was a teen or something.
STOP EVERYTHING.
I JUST HEARD THE WORDS: "I'M SURE THERE'LL BE A SEQUEL"
that one dislike has got to be from michael fassbender.
@bigjokk I love him too! xD too funny! :)
@Killingeurt Now THAT is a statement I can agree with. XD
@Hudson2012
Nope, he was supposed to be British, and he did a British accent. Surprisingly, though, it wasn't the greatest I've heard from him... there are moments when he slips, but in the other films I've seen him in, he is amazingly consistent with both British and American accents.
That would be like Star Wars if they did a second and third movie of First Class.
@Flario93
I think in this one Havok is supposed to be Cyclops's father =/
@bigjokk He's so charming
@JuuhachigouSama If you check the marvel universe wiki page, the second paragraph states that he lost his hair due to his form of mutation. @Killingeurt Well, I'll have to disagree with you there... but oh well, to each his own XD
@shannonbratton1996 : He lives in Britain but his accent sounds Irish.
@Parnia99 Well seeming as a Scottish accent is a British accent, that's not remarkably impressive. However, I'm sure he can actually do more.
@Shakiro999 I agree I just watched the movie two hours ago..and his loss of walk ability..is a major spoiler! Great movie just as good as any of the other x-fmen. Cant wait for the 2nd. he's so yummy
nice spoilers in here
Wow he is so hot!
prof X was bald before he lost his legs. i imagine them reading that now and going "ahhh, fuck." great movie anyways.
@theredleaves Ther is no such thing as a British accent !! I should know since i am from scotland :))
@TidusJRStrife How is there no such thing as a 'British accent' again?
did he just say sex pest?!
@AoyameKirashi Uhm. No.
Scottish and British accents aren't nearly the same..
@theredleaves You mean his English accent. Scotland is part of Britain. There's no such thing as a 'British accent'......
i went to drama school you know
I thought he lost his hair because of his mutant-ness.
Ofcourse , I recommend non-English ( nationality , not language ) sources less likely to bullshit on behalf of the British Empire !
@Killingeurt And a horrible movie...
