When European brands make their products in China/Vietnam/Bangladesh y’all are cool, but when a Chinese brand makes their product in their own country, y’all are automatically “disappointed”. Ok.

The designer is Chinese, why wouldn’t it be made in China?

Because it varies by on where they source the materials and labor in order to cut down on tax and import fee - aka, operating expenses so they can keep the retail price relatively low...People like you are so dumb and ignorant.

everything is made in China, even the high end fashion brands like Gucci, Prada and Dior. They get the materials from China but assemble it themselves and then say that its made in Italy or France when in reality, all materials are sourced from China XD

I'm confused. How come there is no footage of you with the hand bag if you bought it? Am i missing something?

The channel obviously isn't run by one person. It's probably a team of people writing scripts, sourcing and editing videos, and recording voice overs. Notice how other videos are narrated by a completely different VO actor.
Think WatchMojo but for fashion. So basically, they did NOT actually buy the bag, just summarized reviews and collated videos from other creators.

I think your views on it made in China is quite racist and superficial. So many of the high end European brands get their products manufactured in China and sell it for $$$. I can’t help but feel that your perspective is a bit pretentious.

While the overall review was positive, I agree that phrasing left me disappointed with the reviewer.

Agreed, it was very off-putting. China can manufacture anything from inexpensive to the highest quality premium products. So many people think White, European, and American = superior

I find this comment not only unfair but also odd, if not outright ridiculous.
It’s a well-known fact that the fashion industry in certain countries is in a worse situation than in others. This is due not only to environmental issues but also to reported problems such as forced labor and child labor. I won’t even delve into the unfair working conditions that often involve low pay. Unfortunately, China is often included among those countries with questionable labor practices as far as I know. So, yes, since I strive to support sustainable and fair fashion, I make an effort to investigate the production practices of the brands I review as much as possible. This is not against any country or people; it’s a principle I adhere to, that’s all. For instance, I aim to use cruelty-free products in makeup and skincare, meaning that I tend to avoid products that are produced in China. This decision is not rooted in any negative feelings toward the country but rather in its policies on animal testing.
I believe it’s unfair to label a person as racist so easily.

It's made in China for slave labor prices .. That's not racist at all. Workers are sleep-deprived and they could be extremely skilled kama but when they're pushed and pushed to push out more and more objects to get a extra couple pennies a day? Hurts quality

@@perspectiveofme Yeah I had a comment that I typed for you about why you are getting this comments and then there's a certain government behind it and it's because these brands are there soft power, and they can't have any neutral reviews only positive reviews.. You didn't say anything at all over the critical nor racist in this video.
A certain government just knows that Western people hate being called racist or bigoted more than anything else..
Like feminist brand? I hate to say it but there is just no way that those 2 women are actually behind this brand , I would have to do research, but there's just no way.
They really are? It's because they were high up socially, no working class woman would be able to be the face of China like this, that would be seen as embarrassing

You feel it’s a “bit of a let down” that a Chinese designer has her products made in China?
I bet you have plenty of pieces of clothing & various household items that were made in China.
You thought you were saying something riveting for your video. The comments called you out on it & now you’re trying to defend your stance. But the reality is you just don’t want to admit how ignorant you sounded.
You missed the opportunity to learn. It’s better to be wrong & apologetic; than to be wrong & defensive.

Yes please do the Luna handbags video of all the brands, it’s a trend taking the world by storm, surpassing the flaps. I’m in with this trend. Love it ❤❤.
I’m also digging the squary boxes like the Celine box and the triomphe.
The classic flap and the Hermes Kelly never gonna be out of style but it seems like the obsession over those two it’s finally over.if you have them or a dupe don’t sell them you will always look great with them but if you wanted your classic flap or Kelly but were not able to get them don’t suffer for them they aren’t the hottest trend anymore.
We are now all about Luna bags and the Celine triomphe dupes.

Its beautiful, but Im sure its overpriced. If its mass produced it should not cost a lot.

I stumbled upon your channel and love how short and informative all the videos are. Which of the Songmont Luna bag and Polene Dix do you prefer? Also, what do you think of the COS crescent bag? Thanks!

I don't understand why some people are getting so worked up over this video. She gave her honest opinion on the brand, and while some may disagree with her, it's important to respect her perspective. If you don't like the video, you can just scroll past it. It's not that serious. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and perspectives, and it's important to respect and appreciate different viewpoints. Let's focus on having a constructive conversation instead of getting worked up over a difference in opinion.
