Amazingly creative street musician in London

  • I spotted this incredible street musician while walking through the Notting Hill Saturday market. If the video isn't too clear, this amazing street performer is playing on a tennis racket guitar, a typewriter and a cutlery set. Although the song being played is a cover, the creativity of the artist has transformed it into very original piece of art.
    You can find the performer's Facbook page at / porcapizza .
    Don't forget to hit that SUBSCRIBE button.

      @@therealthev If you've ever looked closely at a tennis racket you'd know that one string goes up and then back down and then back up etc. So there are actually only 2 strings in the racket.

    • @bobcrestwood740
      @bobcrestwood740 7 років тому

      Then what about from 0:59 to 1:09, where he takes his right hand off the racket, and the music is still playing? That proves that the music is pre-recorded.

    • @bobcrestwood740
      @bobcrestwood740 7 років тому +1

      Also look at the length of the racket -- it's too short to get the notes he's "playing." The pitch you get from a string depends on the length of the string -- the shorter the string, the higher the pitch; the longer the string, the lower the pitch. The music coming out of his speaker is of normal pitch for an electric guitar -- but electric guitars have strings that are twice as long as the "strings" on this tennis racket. There's no way he's getting those notes from such short strings -- it's all fake.

    • @hughandjanemuller14
      @hughandjanemuller14 6 років тому +7

      Bob Crestwood ..... uh .... I guess you are just having a laugh but in case you are not , the pitch depends on the length of the string AND the tension AND the gauge (thickness ) of the string . He is doing the bizzo.

      first ...he's playing and making it sound as a guitar and seond ukulele is an instrument from the same familly and thrd it was not about HOW he built the instrument but about how it sounds played by him.In the set-up that he made.Which shows real musical skills plus an unconventional approach.

      "I'm curious how he build the tennis racket guitar." He didn't it's just a regular tennis racket that he's pretending to play while he has pre-recorded music played by a real guitar coming out of his speaker. It's a phony act.
