this hit very hard for me as my late cousin was KIA in Afghanistan and was visiting Denmark. My family there and the knock on the door and it was the officers who give the same latter, as a PMC S.OP veteran myself lost friends in Iraq and Afghanistan..

I got more from this movie about how we should live than I have from most preached sermons I have heard.
As a deactivated Nam Era Marine, my only complaint is the title. Soldiers are not Marines and Marines are not Soldiers. A Marine and his way of carrying out missions are entirely different. Our nation calls on us to be the first to fight whether it be in air, on land or at sea. We are amphibious creatures of war that opens up the way for the rest of the militaries to come and fight. The info we gather is used to advise other branches. We are the smallest armed force in the nation that requires the highest disciplines to survive. Being the first is not easy anywhere we go. This nation sleeps safely at night because we exist. There is no one I would trust to sleep with than fellow Marines, other than my wife. Many of us are deeply spiritual as we witness evil on the battlefield, which does not keep us from our focus on mission objectives. The one most likely to be killed is an unbeliever and your liberal government does not want you to know that. All Marines are in the fraternity for life. I take the time to explain this because I deeply love my Marines and of course you, the beneficiary of our efforts. Jesus is my Saviour ! A friend always !
I want to thank you sir and salute 🫡 you for your service and for keeping our country and families safe. Just hope that others realize what you guys do out there to protect us, I do have a marine nephew and it wasn’t easy as he has told me. May God bless you and your family and keep you safe.

Lost a Marine buddy and an Army buddy two years apart, "Nam".
We all grew up in the same orphanage.
I admire you and the other Marines who focus on the job at hand. I admire the not leaving your buddies behind.
What I admire the most is how our US service members are on call 24/7 365.

In other countries the farmers are seen as a treasure to the rest of that country. In my country South Africa farm murders is a regular occurents. They also get no support from the government. But our government doesn't acknowledge to the world. They are in denial.. Our farmers has a lot to enduer. Live isn't easy on them, but still they stand strong.. Appreciate your farmers..

I knew part of this movie would take place in Africa, I didn't know it would be so close to home❤😂
I can understand the movie theme, and know it's only a Movie, but being a Marine and being in Iraq and Afghanistan a few times there are many mistakes here. I have seen many IEDs go off and never seen where a wounded Marine have a, his gear blown off. Plus, not wearing IBAs, two-man patrol, saluting indoors with no cover on, unforms with no rank and patches are wrong. Hire better advisors. Just a pet peeve of mind. Sorry, just ranting. Carry on.
I enjoy most Christian movies. This one was a bit slow for the middle 80%. Also hard to understand the thick accented Croc Dundee.
