- Some things I would recommend doing before leaving Costa Del Sol (Chapter 6 & 7) in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Also huge thanks to Square Enix & Fourth Floor for providing a copy of the game!
Be sure to spend the swimsuit tickets as soon as you ge tthem, the game clearly doesnt say that you wont be able to use the tickets for cloud once you switch over to the girls and you wont be able to claim them after you start the beach scene.
Not true, you can still buy the swimsuits with Gil after the events at Costa del sol take place. Don't sweat it.
@@damascusunverse8183 Thats what I said, you cant use the tickets anymore and have to pay 5000 gil which is not that much, i have about 1.2mil in excess right now lol
@@damascusunverse8183 It was annoying to me for a different reason, because I thought the tickets were going to also be used for getting the girls suits. So I only bought one for Cloud thinking I'd need to have one saved for later.
I wish they'd just automatically redeem them, and mention that if you get any more tickets they'll give you an extra set to help match your partner. This way you'd know that you can redeem both suits, and also clue you in that matching styles with the girls is something the game is keeping track of.

For the Wheelie Master challenge at the start, the fastest way to get 4000 meters is to immediately turn the wheelie left, cross over the helipad and make several U-shaped circuits between the far ends of the cargo and cruise ship docks. A lot of players will immediately run into town and make several loops around the central resort, which I also did my first time through. These loops are only worth about 500 meters at a time and the route is filled with obstacles, geometry and NPCs blocking your way so you'll be at it a while. The docks are almost completely empty, so if you do them immediately you can finish the challenge in just 3-4 circuits and ride the wheelie straight to the kiosk on your final lap for the last few hundred meters.
I didnt think they added jiggle physics for Tifa. But they sure did haha. During the sit ups challenge

i was stuck on Jules for an HR. Then i switched to Performance mode and did it within 2 tries. It may have helped
My pirates rampage was 15000 at rank 3 and the reward was Time materia and Tifa didn't jiggle on my game that's crazy, I see yours says 22000 rank 3 too. I just did mine a hour ago because I saw a video showing how to get the time materia to beat tomberry king.

If you get A rank on the piano concert you get a remedy and elixir.
The piano is probably the reason I'll never platinum this game, I just can't get an A no matter how hard I try 😂 I have completed all the other minigames and got the highest scores (I'm in chapter 11 already), but the piano... 🤧
well.. thats just makes it better to platinum.. coz now it takes skill..
@@urekmazino5125 I wish they did something besides 2 separate music wheels. Even a single wheel with 2 different colored note markers would be better. I'm literally going cross-eyed trying to keep track of which notes are coming. And I'm getting A rank without too much difficulty, it's just literally uncomfortable.

Slow down the aim to only 2 pips. For the Ghost Ship challenge, speed up only to reposition your cursor at the start of each new section then slow back down when you're set. On Ghost Ship, your accuracy matters a lot so a calm, steady aim is going to pay off even if you aren't hitting all the gold targets. Finally, if you hear a "Zoooom!" sound that means a Cactuar target is on screen. They are worth 1000 points each, and there are 2 in the Ghost Ship challenge - the first to appear is actually stationary to the far right of the stage in the waves, so be sure to hit at least that one when it pops up.
It was so painful for me too but I got it down finally.

my favourite of the game so far lmao. minigame heaven is how i would describe it. its rare that every mini game is fun, rewarding, and a pleasure to play through.
Why play the game then... theyre funny and creative seemanlike youre none of this... Pls stop play the game and sell it

The sole reason I'm probably not gonna try and platinum the game. It's too tedious to try and max score everything with the sheer number of mini games there are.
It's a little weird that there are absolutely no water physics, no footprints left in the sand and the characters dont get wet when they swim. It's like a weird prerendered 3D environment that sells the illusion of something that looks alive like but it's dead, dead like their robot sounding npcs and zero charm and wit in the writing. It's almost disturbing

Go to the main ship 🚢 the red marker on the map , you will get access for all areas
After you finish the boss fight in Costa Del Sol, you can return to Junon by going to the cruise ship.
mini games lower the quality this game has to offer.
Wow you must have really hated the original. the game was basically a huge overworld packed with random monster encounters in between all the minigames.
Agreed worst thing about this game so far is def the mini games. Everything else though is fantastic.
You won't like final fantasy as a whole then , minni games are nothing new
