I remember going camping with family in the middle of nowhere colorado. The building with showers and restrooms had a small arcade with this machine next to a pinball machine in the corner. I spent way too much time playing this lol
Love this game series sooo much but I can't help but ever time I play them especially this game I always say, "Because heavy metal existed in the 1944. This game is so historically accurate."
Ive been hooked on these shooters for awhile now and was happy to find the loop master. I found out very quickly this game hates the player. No extra lives, every level becomes a bullet hell that is as hard as the bosses, you get a charged up shot that takes to long to be really useful, the final stage bosses are all timed and it is a very short time. I quickly beat all the shooters I play the day I start them. I'm on day 4 with this game having started it over mutiple times. This game has no love for anyone who plays it. Good luck to all who give it a shot.
I remember using like 70 quarters just to beat this game. Sure my score resets to 0 but I never gave a shit about the score anyway since I'm terrible at these types of games but I'll still play them for fun.
1944 The Loop Master is ABSOLUTE Masterpiece from capcom
With STUNNING graphics and STUNNINGLY AMAZING gameplay
A classic arcade game with attitude 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Love the game, was a pretty good at it but this walkthrough is incredible! Pure skill!
this a masterpiece in 2022
This player has some superhuman skills...
Just recently discovered this gem, holy crap is it awesome!
One of the most memorable games jn my entire gaming life. Beat this game twice one both planes.
I always like to imagine what kind of hilarity would ensue if you could somehow play a Laser Side Fighter.
- More powerful Laser armament, upgrades with Shot items
- Uses its own Side Fighters, is faster
- Can equip Bombs, has a smaller hitbox
- Has only two hitpoints, but can upgrade with Power items
1P is the Laser-type Side Fighter sprite, and 2P is the Shot-type sprite (But they both fire Lasers).
The final mobile fortress is friggin huge. Its stats are pretty impressive..the length of roughly nine football fields. Imagine the workcrew hehe
I could never pronounce the damn name of it properly
One of my fav capcom arcade shmups
Love how Capcom never made a "1945" game, just to complete the set.
Despite there being 5 games in the series, but they made one called 19XX
This game is the true meaning of evolution, especially compared with 1942 on the NES
RocMegamanX
Probably they did not figuring that 1945 was the year WWII officially ended.
Japan & Russia are still in despite over some islands, so technically it didn't end. It's still souring relations between Japan and Russia to this day. Ironically had the USSR not dissolved they'd probably be returned by now.
Now I definitely need the Capcom Arcade 1up!
You in luck...Capcom just announced this and 15 other games on home Arcade cabinet stick.
reinforcements with lasers...
pretty epic.
I hope we get a capcom collection volume 3
This arcade game needs to be rereleased on the home consoles in the future but that's up to Capcom to decide
it is also up to Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony as they have the final say if they want it on the PlayStation, Switch, Xbox console
bullets fly like rain is hard to avoid.
Im very very meticulous about the shmups i hold in high regard. For me in shmups, its not just about gameplay, bit its also the visual effects the game has.
I love the hit effects this game has. The sparks and flare they give off. Explosion effects are a big one for me. I find alot of Shmups lacking in that department. Its disappointing.
The most 80's WW2 game ever made.
The Music for Stage 4 sounds like La Grange. :)
Do you think this game will get the arcade archives treatment for switch?
unless Capcom signs an agreement with the publisher that ports the arcade games on the consoles and pay Capcom a license fee i doubt it’ll happen or it won’t happen
Amazing game 🎉
epic intro
hidden gem. very nice game
underthepale
Has nothing to do with the 90s. The idea of land battleships and dreadnoughts goes back to before WW1...heck, even further than that.
Game looks hard as piss
yes that bit like sky force/sky force reloaded Symbian version but diffrent developers
19xx best one
Sega had a game called Bomber Raid which was identical to this.
2045 : The CODM Master !
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Capcom Arcade Stadium was the first time this was ever available on console?
This was bullet hell in a sense
What's your score?
Uhhh... aspect ratio? :S
How many stages does this game have?
Ahh! Now I know! Sixteen stages AND one million, two hundred, eighty-two thousand, six hundred and fifty points!
I got a fucking headache watching this, excessive on screen projectiles & constant flashing. Holy shit, too intense for my taste
Gameplay looks awesome, but the music is generic biker bar butt rock. Doesn't fit the game.
This is God, you are watching God play!!
CAPCOM and RAIZING
Very Good Game Have PS2?
@@luisreyes1963 Yup, this one along with War Of Destiny were Arcade exclusive.
i like this one the most out of the 194x games.
Did you use savestates?
I love the irrationally huge war machines in this game, especially the final boss. Can you imagine how much energy it'd take to get such a thing to move? Man I miss the 90s.
This game was released in 2000, not the 90s
@Radioactive Pineapple Productions In addition to playing Red Dead Revolver January 15, 2002 prototype on PCSX2, I gonna need to play 1944: The Loop Master on MAME.
Yeah the fucking massive things are so funny
