Was awsome to spot the post on facebook and now see vid. If your ever down caloundra try maloja jetty (where the coast guard boat sits) or down golden beach at bells creek boat ramp.
If you ever want some local know on what's hitting around caloundra the local tackle shop caloundra tackle world know well on whats bitting where and what to use lure or bait. ive found squid hoods cut to small strips and the heads as burley have hit well for me.
We used to fish off the old jetty in the Mooloolah River, and my biggest flatty off there with a live herring as bait was 4.28kg...even made the local paper...😁
Great video mate and a cracking fish! I just posted a video close to this spot recently on my channel catching a couple of flathead a few weeks ago... There are some great fish in the river!! Cheers and tight lines, Will
Hi Wayne. A few questions if you don't mind. I'm looking into footwear for wading and on rocks, and I'm wondering what sort are you wearing? Safety first hey. Those small lip-grips you use, are they any good? Nice Flattie. If you have a kayak or whatever, try the trawler moorings in the Mooloolah River. Massive Bream, and Jacks, Trevally, etc. Cheers John.
It's not easy to give a spot so to speak. There are many factors that affect spots such as weather, tides etc. Different times, winds, moons and tides will push me toward different spots. For starters try the high tide late in the day or early night over the gravel to the west of the Woody Pt Jetty. Use burley and chase bream.
Thanks for watching, look forward to finding a few more handy little spots on the Sunny Coast.

Solid fish, keen chasing flatties with 6lb, 10lb to 15lb for me
jonnywaselectric yep agree when I’m confident I’ll use 10 but in tough times I drop down a bit.
Good spot that one, if you walk out abit at low tide and fish under and in between the bridges it's sometimes good to.👍
Thanks Glenn, will give that a shot next time I'm there.
Have you ever fished around noosa
Tyson Bates sure have. Lived there for 12 months. A fair time back though.
Nice vid.
Thanks
Hey mate where did you get your jighead case?
eBay.
Does the stradic still work
It does. I haven’t used it in 15 months as I’m committed to a sponsor. Okuma. That said the epixor range is great.

Where is this fishing spot exactly? Are you able to give the exact address or how to go there?
Armand Chan there is street names on the map at the beginning of the video. You should be able to work it out from there. If not let me know.
