This is one of my earliest TV memories and takes me back when I was about 5 years old (in 1964) and the show was being broadcast on RTE television in Ireland. I was too young to remember the cast or stories, but the opening sequence and the theme song has stayed with me all my life and this is the first time I've seen the show in over 50 years.
I remember Tombstone, since I was 11 or 12 years old. The theme song would play in my mind frequently. I enjoy watching this show as well as many other tv shows Pat Conway made an excellent sheriff, quite the hero. I was sad to learn he had passed away at only 50 years of age.
No, it isn't insulting to the Indians. These actors were starting their careers. In this case the part became available, Leonard Nimoy agreed to take it, and it helped to make him more recognizable to the public. He did a lot of westerns and played an Indian (and it is okay to use the word Indian) on more than one occasion. Besides, how do you know Leonard Nimoy didn't have some Indian blood in his ancestry??? Did you research his family tree before posting your comment?! Stop being so obsessed with race.
Besides,he's a clean looking Indian, compared to others I've seen! I think the 'dirty Indian' portrait is more insulting than Angelo's playing Indians...
one thing was they had no problem displaying racism back then. john wayne movies set the Indians back many times especially with themovie mc clintock. just like the movies reefer madness and up in smoke set back cannibus. justg so you know :)
Many good memories! I loved this western show when I was 8 years. Thanks for posting them!
Thanks Gordon for uploading this episode.

dont trust an alleged horse thief, especially one from a galaxy far, far away .......
Yes it a blessing to sit back and relaxed.Watching the wester movies thats made before my time?
The TV shows and movies made back then have more truth and values than almost anything today.
The shows back then weren’t politically correct.
Great episode of the underrated western.
