i only recently found your music, and i wish i would have found it so much sooner. if i did, i might not have made a lot of the mistakes and self harm that ive done. this song makes me tear up every single time i hear it. my girlfriend left me right after i rolled my car 3 times, barrel rolled, and cartwheeled, all because she said that everyones right about me and ill never amount to anything and all i will ever be is a fuckup. the hardest moment of my entire life, was when the doctor asked “do you have a lover or a family member coming to see you?” and all i could do was look at the ceiling and whisper “no. no i dont” and i could feel my face getting warmer because i was holding back tears. i truly realized that i have nobody and that was the loneliest moment of my life. i was laying in the trauma bed and i found this song and i never related to a song so much. ive been on my own since i was 15, and now im 18. ive been homeless, broken, unloved, and ridiculed. my parents used to abuse me and my body is covered in scars from them. they seemed mad when the doctor called them and told them that i was alive. (they live on the other side of the us.) but never once, did i lose hope. i had a dream and i wasnt going to stop chasing it, and after i got it, i had another dream. about a week after i recovered i sent my ex the link to this song and she apologized for everything she said and we recently got back together. because of talented musical artist like you, i always keep my head up in the lowest of times. i truly cannot thank you enough for this masterpiece of a song. i love you karacter
