- Completing an oil change on a 2003 Suzuki DRZ125l. This is one of the easiest oil changes to do. You only need 1 quart of 10w40 oil and a filter.
Tools required
10mm socket
21mm socket
I also use a torque wrench on the drain bolt. 20.5 lb-ft
Thank you to @Foxcanfixit for this tip about removing the oil cap with the handle of the pliers.

This was really interesting I’ve never change the oil in a motorcycle so this is cool to see!
Awesome glad you enjoyed it
Hi. I just unscrewed the wrong bolt.
I have a DR125 and thanks to your video I understood what is the correct one.
Thank you.
Awesome. So glad it helped
This was great! I know zero about bikes so the basics are always good to see. And that plier trick is neat too 🙌
As soon as I saw your video I was looking forward to using that trick. Didn’t realize I’d get to use it so soon.
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible weekend. Much love and RESPECT
Thank you
Great to meet you at NNN
You as well. Watching you drive that dirt car down the drag strip was awesome
@@113Cycles it was a double handful I promise
We have a bullitt 125 which is a Chinese copy of the suzuki. So this was super informative. Thanks for posting.
So glad to hear it. Thank you
Great video brotha!!!
Thank you Eye spider
Thanks for the video it was helpful
Your welcome.
i unscrewed the wrong bolt but i don’t know how to put the spring and other bolt back in
It’s not a big deal. Check your service manual or look up a parts diagram online. You can just it back in the way it came out and you should be good to go.
what do you do if you unscrewed the other bolt, because it seems like the end of the world
It may seem like it but it's not the end of the world. Just put everything back in the way it came out and you'll be fine. Check the parts diagram or service manual for the proper order of reassembly. You got this
Hi can you send me the link where you got the street tires for the 125
The rims were on the bike when I got it. They are excel rims (17 in) and you can find them online. The tire are front tires off of a supermoto bike. It had gp125 slicks when I bought it. They fit a 120/70/17 tire
I used 10w40 car oil is it ok?
I depends on the brand. Motorcycles have wet clutches so most car oils will make the clutch switch.
@@113Cyclesthe oil you used in the video is it wet clutch as well and is it full synthetic?
@@PainlessOasis4I used Motul 5100 it’s a synthetic blend. It’s made for motorcycles
@@113Cycles thanks man
Sure thing@@PainlessOasis4
I need help finding the correct oil filter. Was it stated in the video?
Not sure if its stated in the video or not. I used a KN-132 on this bike.
I have a 2006 125 and just put a piston and rings in it and it smokes is that normal and a metal sound after I run it for a few minutes. Can that be a bad oil filter
You may have a little smoke on first start after replacing the pistons and rings, Should go away pretty quick though. I'm not sure what the metal sound is it could be a number of things. Mine doesn't do that.
