  • Multiplying sponge balls are a classic in magic and the slight of hand is not that hard to learn. It will take a little practice to make this look like real magic, but this type of close up illusion is amazing for the spectator to see because the magic happens in their hands.
You can get these sponge balls at MindBlownMagic.com (fulfillment by Amazon).

Magic feels more real when an audience contributes so probably partially a distraction and also to get them into the trick

If I “like” this video, UA-cam will start suggesting me more and more of such videos, which I don’t want. Unfair right? I like this video!

I know a magician who did this, and he did the same thing as this magician but instead of the three balls “multiplying” into four, they all came together to form the number four. Idk how he did it to this day.

Sponge balls are like sponge cake: You can eat them both, except only if it's the sponge cake.

Why not share the wonder instead of destroying it? There's a reason why actual magicians don't reveal their tricks. It's not for their own glory. It's because they want to give an amazing moment and memory to us and they know if we knew the secret it would not just ruin that feeling, but many others and ultimately kill the magic.

But its also so difficult to learn

the enjoyment is making other people amazed by it, its more of a trade off: "They get amazement, you get a good feeling because you perfected the trick"
