I see a lot of vehicles also in this video that is awf and 4 wheel drive. Both are great for those conditions so long as you have good tires, slow down and try not to drive on the paths of other drivers.
As someone who has been driving for 50 years in this stuff, I can tell you it’s not fun. When it’s snow, it’s doable. Take your foot off the brake or gas, and steer into it. When it’s ice, stay home. Luckily in the north the towns and counties know how to prep and clear the roads. County roads definitely better. I felt bad for that red Ford. Everyone laying on their horns. Come on people. It’s not like he wanted to be unable to move. Ice is just as dangerous walking in it, as driving in it. I’m glad you made it home safely. When Diamond said “how ratchet is that”, I laughed. That was funny. 😂 I remember once in my 20’s our car broke down in another state, and we had to walk in a blizzard. We saw it as an adventure. Eyelashes and everything frozen. What a sight we were when we reached the motel after walking miles like you did. 😂
PennDot sucks at taking care of our roads. They don't come out till the storm is over then they just let us drive on it to take care of it which then creates slush which is just as bad as ice.

Most states south of Maryland do not invest in equipment or salt because it does not snow frequently enough to budget for it. If they did, your taxes would be even higher. Why, when it snows in places like Atlanta, stay your ass at home, they are not prepared for it, but that is what is planned. Go ask any of your public officials. In Mass. like Maryland states have equipment and budgets for this because we always get snow. When was the last time they got snow in Atl? Happens very rarely.
You two were so wise to park and walk👍🏾💙🩷🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. Can you imagine how anxious you would have been driving with all that confusion?! I was caught in the snow storm there a few years back. When the highways, interstates and roads were at a standstill with ice everywhere. People had left their cars on the highways and walked. While some stayed with their vehicles. The only reason I didn’t get stuck was because I’m from Michigan and knew how to maneuver and drive on ice and snow. Get to the curb and slightly turn your wheel toward the curb. Grip it and slowly move up the hills and it will also slowly take you down the hill. Don’t panic and take your time. Tell your people there to lay of the horns😡! All it does is make matters worse. Rudeness😂. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. By the way. I’m on the west coast now😂🌞. Be safe.

I found you two by accident today and what a breath of fresh air you are.😊 You were smart to park but walking along inexperienced drivers in the snow is dangerous too. As an old northerner I have a tip for you. Keep a pair or 2 of socks in your truck they can work as makeshift mittens and if you put them OVER your shoes it will give you a little traction when walking. A sprinkle of sand or kitty litter will give your tires a little traction too. I know it doesn’t happen often but a small winter weather kit might be something to think about. You two were awesome, you made the best of it and smiled along the way. My kind of people.😊 P.S. I gave you a 👍 and subbed. Stay warm and stay kind.🙏🏻
It is so stressful driving in those type of conditions! I had a carload of children and we were in conditions worse than this. We were on the interstate and our car was spinning! We prayed so hard. The weather unexpectedly came up and we weren't prepared. We were way to far to get out and walk and it was too dangerous to sit and wait. God was with us and brought us home safely. So glad you made it safely. 🙏🙏🙏

I grew up in Massachusetts and my first car was a Chevette. I drove that thing in all kinds of weather. Lowest gear, place something heavy over your rear tires, and if you aren't comfortable driving in it, stay home. That is the best advice I can give you. Unfortunately people think they can still do the speed limit and that is what causes most accident. Or they have 4 wheel drive and think they are okay.
Glad ya"ll are safe that was scary and dangerous. My niece had to park her vehicle and walk about 2 miles I think. She went into Atlanta and was on the Stockbridge exit to her cousin apartment and couldn't climb the hill so she parked and walked. 10 minutes by car 30 to 40 walking in snow
Im glad you guys decided to walk, it was way safer. I will tell you in St. Louis this is normal. It snowed here a few weeks ago and we are still dealing with ice, but its gradually melting. 🙏🏿

In Mass. like Maryland states have equipment and budgets for this because we always get snow. When was the last time they got snow in Atl? Happens very rarely.
Glad you made it home safely. Between Dominique eating 🤣🤣🤣 and the sights home... it took a minute. 🙏🏾
This was a beautiful and invigorating walk.Thank you for allowing me to tag along. I'm 78 years young and don't get out much
We are so glad you enjoyed the walk! It was a truly memorable adventure for us!🤍
You two were so wise to park and walk👍🏾💙🩷🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
Be safe.
Thank God he bless you both to get home safely and bless your car to be safe and not damaged or stolen I'm praying that the other people on the road got home safely also 🙏🙏🙏
Yes walk , ice is no joke. Bless ya all 😊
That was great footage 👍🏼
Thank you! It was a crazy experience, but it was nice to capture it all on camera. ❄️
Love you guys and so glad you got home safely ❤️ ❤😊😊
That was so incredibly smart of you guys to not take that chance and walk. Geezus!! Crazy weather y'all got going on. Please stay safe and warm so you can bring us all those wonderful blessings you do!! 💖🤗😇🌬️
You guys make a great team!
Our winter weather moved your way! NW Indiana here, I want our weather back! Lol I'm sure you all want to send it back too since you're not used to driving in this.
You are so right LOL! We definitely are not used to this here, and we’re so thankful it only lasted a few days. It was ROUGH and unexpected..but super beautiful ❄️ 🤍
We here in Beaufort S.C., did get snow. Had several days off with paid. Tuesday 1/21/2025, I stopped at the store and brought stuff to prepare. Now that many areas are cleared we will return back to work 1/27/2025.
Loved going along for the walk with you. Icy conditions best to stay home if possible.
You are right to walk youngsters. lol. Stay safe out there❤
It is so stressful driving in those type of conditions! 🙏🙏🙏
Oh my gosh! I am so glad you and your children made it home safely too! That’s so scary! To God be the glory🙏🙌
I know how you guys feels walking 5 miles today I did that back in the day . My bones will not let me do that now.
Yall be safe out there.
Ohio here, good luck guys, and its nice to have a ride or die with you as well stay safe
You did the right thing!😊 Be safe walking home.
I'm so jealous of your weather right now. We have been having extreme heat here is South Africa since November. Couple of cooler days inbetween but mostly boiling . Stay safe and thanks for the vid
It's so crazy how different the weather can be all over the world! 😩 I’m jealous of you though, we are missing the warm sun here in the south☀️ , we do not like the cold too much..and are never prepared for it 😂🤍. Wishing you well 🙏
I pray you will be warm soon in your house. Always keep items in your vehicle for time like this. 😊
That was so interesting! I didn’t know it snowed in Atlanta. Thank you for sharing and I thankful you got home safely ❄️❄️☃️
It's better to be safe than sorry. Be safe.
I live in Nashville, and we get more snow than Atlanta at least one maybe two each winter, but we still FREAK out when it snows! We just got about six or seven inches last week! I'm glad you two made it home safely, and thanks for sharing your adventure with us! 👍😊
Wow!!! I Know You All In Atlanta Are Not Custom To Having Ice & Snow.
Last Week It Very Cold In The New
York City Area.
As Soon As Snow Began Fall We
Had 3 or 4 Salt Trucks, Salting Our
Our Street. God Bless and Keep
You Both. 🙏🙏🙏👋
Very good decision to park y’all ride. No snow in Shreveport LA. Thank y’all for sharing this❤❤❤
Thank you! Diamond has family in Shreveport, they were hoping to see a little bit of snow 😂😅. No luck 🥶🤍
I am from Australia we got 43C here, l feel for you guys and thank you for letting join yor walk with you.
🔥🔥, glad I’m from Detroit man. lol folks down here in the A don’t kno what to do. Then don’t dnt nobody help others 😂 W video drake. Glad yall safe.
I'm glad you guys decided to park. Glad you'll made it home safe. Truly this was one of the best 2025 snow videos I've seen thus far. Great job!!!
Please be safe. The city doesn't have any equipment to move the snow? Wow. My family that lives there stayed home for a few days. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
It was definitely a wild few days, but thankfully we made it through! ❄️ I think the city was unprepared this time..no one expected it to stick 😅. Glad your family stayed safe 🤍
Oh wow! 2 miles is a long walk in the snow, I'm glad your niece is safe! 😩
@DrakeLawnCare thanks
Im glad you guys decided to walk, it was way safer. I will tell you in St. Louis this is normal. It snowed here a few weeks ago and we are still dealing with ice, but its gradually melting. 🙏🏿
Thank you, we're glad we made the right call!
Here in New Orleans we were similar with 10.5 inches It was fun for many and disastrous for others ✌️🤗🥰🇺🇸🇨🇺
She said"The wheels probably frozen!"🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was born in Atlanta but I now live in Michigan. If you ever really want to see a snow storm, come visit. Not now though, They still riding motorcycles up here. We haven't had it bad at all so far. Stay Safe!!!
I agree with you. It's beautiful, but quite frightening. In most southern cities, other than the salt for the snow & ice, local gov't is not prepared for this type of weather.
I’m glad you made it home safe
Hi Drake & Lawn Bae. Thanks for this unexpected snow adventure the trains scenery was magical. Happy that u both made it home safely walking💯 with hot coffee to warm your hands.
Oh wow! We got snow in Florida too. It's crazy! Be careful and Stay warm.
A few weeks ago we had snow in Chattanooga; however, I didn't drive on it; but I walked the neighborhood around 2hrs, taking videos of people making snowmen; I really enjoyed the snow day. ,❤️✌🏾🙏🏾
Y’all be safe. Brother always put your wife inside and you walk on the outside of the traffic. Switch positions. ❤✊🏾
i was thinking the same thing
i was thinking the same thing
Glad you walked much safer. Think you had more snow over there than we had in some parts of 🇬🇧 ❤❤
Us too, thank you! Wow! Thats amazing ❄️🤍
Yo, that’s beautiful protecting your girl making good decisions I live in Michigan particularly Detroit Michigan. We get snow like crazy. We know how to drive in it so I understand your decision process however I must say it’s hilarious. You guys didn’t even get an inch of snow it’s unbelievable. Also, you have a truck generally you drive a truck in snow it’s OK however you guys don’t get snow so I would expect you to panic. One last thing you guys are beautiful couple I like the way the young man takes full responsibility and being safe that’s the most important thing.
Coming from New York😂 respect the SNOW! It's real. Peace be
Thank you for sharing your journey…. I was holding my breath…hoping for your safety!
We're so glad to be safe too. It was a wild ride! 😅
Lawn Bae said we gone get that money, Law suit
She was not playing either 😂😅
In situations like this, you can run out of gas extremely fast. Then you are really in bad shape. Ya'll made the safest, best decision to walk. God bless you to get home safe before dark.
I was ready for it, to stay in and not go out. You walked right by the house I lived in on North Decatur.

Smart people park and walk! I live near Chicago and we are used to the snow and ice but sometimes it gets so bad, so you just stay home.
