They did, in patch 0.6.8 they will remove the 10km torps from Khaba so that it will only have the completely useless 6km torps

Jerry Glaze It is still a nerf, because 10km torps are actually useful, but now the 6km torps is only a self defense weapon during cyclones due to crappy range and I usually stay 10+km away from any enemies in normal games

Just saw that Jolly Roger Adventure #10 last night. Went to show it to a buddy today and it got pulled down. Was the most hilarious vid on Khaba. What happened to it, and can it unhappen?

what the devs dont seem to get or rather- refuse, to understand about the khaba, is that it doesnt matter how much they nerf its turning or torps or anything else outside of its speed and gun velocity because as long as it has both of those, the rest can be complete garbage and itll still be king. the sheer blistering speed of this dam ship, combined with its lazer guns, on top of being the only fucking DD (besides Kidd now) that gets a repair party (which is complete and utter BULLSHIT) is all still very much untouched and where its true power comes from. that speed alone means it could be a potato and still rock because its actually kinda game-breaking fast. its too fast for the game and its mechanics and how they are designed. you have to lead your shots SOOOO fucking much that any slight turn from the khab driver and he's good honestly. hell, look at this video. hes OUTRUNNING FUCKING TORPS FOR CHRIST SAKE!....DURING A FULL HARD TURN... they really need to just admit where the REAL problems of this ship is instead of showing favoritism and actually nerf the dam thing where it REALLY will hurt it. getting so tired of seeing khabs getting away with completely over extending and trolling entire full enemy fleets solo 15km out and getting away with it with impunity. seriously its such bullshit.

And to be fair, you were wrecking a Shimakaze in the video. All Japanese DD had crap gun so it doean't count. If you want to show how OP Khaba is, show the Khaba ducking it out with a Gearing. ( US DD has the best gun turret in game) ;)
Mammoth Mk3 I think the fletcher has better traverse than the gearing like 1 second faster traverse on fletcher I think
Aiden Thomas I think so. ( Not too familiar with US DD, since I only finished grinding the Des Moines line, currently on the BB line)
And also, the title of the video is a little bit misleading, the French cruiser can not stop Khaba, because from tier 7 onward they are heavy cruiser, not light cruiser. In order to kill Khaba you need light cruiser like Minotaur or fast firing heavy cruiser like the Des Moines. ;)
Mammoth Mk3 I have grinder up the US DD line on the PTS and the fletcher (or Benson) has a really fast gun traverse without the equipment while Gearing WITH equipment and commander skills reaches on 3s 180 degree turn while the Fletcher gets up to 2s
Too much PTSD. This video is torture. And to add insult to injury, imagine if you're french, and play french ships. Watching that Khaba while listening to the egyptians butcher your anthem is too much.

well i think it highly depend on your playstyle i eat moskva for breakfast with my zao( best troll armor)
but yeah it's pretty powerfull
i played a lot of BB, since Moskva is basically a BB with got to go fast speed better reload and worst armor.
the play style is really fit me since angle Moskva is so strong and she can't be over match from Deck.
i would say that 1v1 same skill player between Zoa and moskva, moskva win (gun only)
and again that is impossible because you never get a fair fight. most of the people struggle in moskva...

HK Kongou gearing has faster reload than the khaba
yea but its got shit range and FAR shittier shell velocities compaired to the khab's lazer guns. you can have the reload of a machine gun and its not going to do you any good if you cant even hit the dam target without getting right up to their face. khab on the other hand can and WILL land its shots everytime, and at much farther distances too.
You may have soloed killed that Frenchie, but it took a long ass time didn't it?

gearing had max 460k dmg and goes over 300k much more often than khaba, Say no to nerf.

More proof the Khaba is still f**king ridiculously overpowered, even with the 0.6.4 nerfs.
43knots of speed (with 130,000hp? in a ship the size of a light cruiser?) 50mm belt armor which laughs at 127mm HE shells, and turret traverse that STILL shits all over a Gearing & Z52 even if they have stealth advantage.
Either nerf the fire rate to 6sec reloads (so 12rpm), slap it with Tashkent turret rotation, slow it down to 37knots maximum (with flags & speed boost active to 40knots) and remove that broken 50mm of Stalinium armor.
Trades46 I think the speed and turret traverse should be kept because that's a unique playstyle for Soviet DDs, I just grinded through Gnevny and that slow turret traverse is no good for the shoot and dodge playstyle. You rely on that to survive when your speed brings you far forward in the frontline to take potential damage. (Note where I was compared to my team in those two matches in the video, you are that annoying bastard that set fires but the enemy had to choose whether they wanna shoot you or your team members since you are hard to hit or at the map border) Rudder shift is alright after this nerf, a dpm nerf should be next. Removing the armor is also a good idea, blocking a whole salvo 203mm HE in a DD (in Yuro's video) is kind of nonsense. Or an HE damage nerf to make it like an Akizuki :D
