Thank you! My window fell off its track and we were perplexed as to how to take the inside door apart. You saved us several hundred dollars! After putting the door back together we apparently didn't line up the bolt that takes the T30 Star Bit up correctly, doesn't seem to matter. Thank you for your videos!
Thanks for the video. I just replaced my front speakers. You were an immense help. I left the cable attached and had my wife hold up the panel while I swapped the speakers. I bought a pair of Blaupunkt 6x8's I purchased off Amazon and they sound great. They actually sound better than the stock speakers.
An added tip, I've pulled these panels several times. Once you've removed the screws, the clips are very solid, unlike most cars. Just pull out on the bottom of the door panel, the rest will pull out with ease, no need to search for the clips or risk scratching paint with a screwdriver, this is one panel that is easy to pull out by hand, once clips are popped out just lift it off upwards,
Great video only thing is the window switch bezel it’s not really recommended to remove that before you remove the door because you can break the retainers off into it
And there I was disliking Phillips screws. Phillips strip, Phillips screwdrivers lose or round off their edge too easy, Torx won't if you use the correct size. The word should be built with Torx and Robertson, but as it is US engineering, Phillips screws are everywhere. :(

Video is a great help. Thanks for making it.
I agree great video...helped me replace my window motor.
Thank you for the video, my girlfriends speakers were going out and I’m about to replace them today. Thank you a lot for the video! Helps a lot!
I just fixed a buzzing speaker thanks to this video. Super easy!
slowdevil did you have to replace the speaker or was it a wiring issue?
Great video thanks so much perfect for what I need.
Great vídeo it's pretty much straight forward similar like every other car 😀

Ileave it attached, you can change a speaker without removing it, just don't hang the door from the wires.
What kind of tool do I need to remove the speaker?
That T30 Torx bit made me go to Home Depot. They have driver bits for $1.58.
Do you know if it's basically the same process for a Mercury Mariner for the same year?
Yes, it would be the same process.
What size speakers do i buy for the front
5 x 8 same size for the rear.
6x8 or 5x7 both fit
5X7, 6X8 and also drilled for 6.5" round (adapter plates are less that $20 if you want to expand your choices),
great video thanks! also, ford is so dumb for using a torx there
