Hi, yes I do use Nikwax on my boots and any waterproof clothes I have sprays and solutions to use in the washing machine. They certainly help extend the life of waterproofing. Admittedly the type of walking I put my boots through puts the waterproofing to the tests 👣

What a shame to see the down grade in version 2!!
Yes, I did prefer version 1. I have had a couple of people contact me and also say that they have had issues with version 2. 👣
